Did you ever find out what happened?
Abu Afak is a poster on FreeRepublic.com. <<<
LOL
At last I see a name that means something and it is a
good guy......
Thanks for telling me, as the Abu caught my attention.
I recently had the good fortune of meeting the members of an Israeli dance troupe. Now that they are headed home, there won't be a day that I don't have concern about their welfare -- putting faces and personalities to the people has increased my anxiety about their safety 1000%.
I understand.
What do you make of this, Granny?
Not good (internet anxiety would set in). Just glad you're back with us!
Interesting, Sacramento area would not be what KGO was talking about, they said local.
The Needles, California to Laughlin, Nevada area was sprayed about 2 months ago, including Bullhead City, Arizona.
This was on the local radio station, KAAA in Kingman.
I thought the first reported case was terrorism, when a couple crows fell out of the sky and instantly they sprayed the whole area, New Jersey? New York?
Needles, Laughlin and Bullhead are on the Colorado River, so could have mosquitos.
It is good to have you back.
You were AWOL, I did not give your cable permission to break down.
Life without a TV isn't that bad, turn the radio on and stare at the monitor screen, with my eyes, it will start to move in a little while......LOL
Internet anxiety set in quickly, especially because I was caught up with work and was planning to indulge myself in a hefty dose of freeping.
Oh well, at least the house is now spic and span.
LOL!
I did have the radio on for a bit, but decided to play some oldies and boogie while I cleaned.
Thanks Cindy, for this... and the other links.

The 9/11 commission was a bad idea. Publishing how little we know about our enemy does not help our cause IMO.
I found this and it sticks in my mind, from 2002, and I have to wonder if the Mafia is the russian mafia?

Dubai-based mafia don claims responsibility
[ TUESDAY, JANUARY 22, 2002 06:01:58 PM ]
new delhi: a dubai-based criminal with links to pakistani intelligence has said his
outfit was responsible for tuesday's
shooting at the american center in calcutta and has threatened more attacks, an
indian home ministry official said. officials in
kolkata received a telephone call from farhan malik, who is based in dubai and linked
to the harkat-ul-jihad islami, a
pakistan-based islamic group fighting in jammu and kashmir. "he owned
responsibility and threatened that similar attacks
would take place by the group in delhi and gujarat," the home ministry official said.
the official said that malik in march 2000
was issued a pakistani passport "and was directed to establish a covert network in
india to carry out terrorist operations."
malik is allegedly involved in underworld crime and organized the kidnapping earlier
this year of a calcutta businessman for a
37.5 million-rupee ($780,000) ransom. the official said that in august 2001, malik
was put in contact with omer sheikh, a muslim
militant who was released in exchange for passengers of an indian airlines plane
hijacked in december 1999 to kandahar,
afghanistan. "sheikh is a british citizen who would come to india through pakistan. he
was involved in a series of terrorist
crimes," he said. foreign ministry spokeswoman nirupama rao said new delhi might
seek malik's extradition from the united
arab emirates. "we have an extradition treaty with the uae and we remain in touch
with the agencies involved with such
crimes in the uae on a realtime basis," she told reporters. "on this particular issue we
will be looking to investigate this crime
further and since the individual who has claimed responsibility for this heinous crime
is stationed in dubai obviously we will
be in consultation with the authorities there," she said. four policemen were killed
tuesday when gunmen sprayed bullets
indiscriminately at the american center on one of kolkata's main thoroughfares.
