The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Was Bomber's "New York" Shirt A Message?
Full Story

It's hardly a unique fashion statement for a mass transit rider: a Yankees-style cap, and a "New York" sweat shirt.

But the New York Police Department is teaming with British authorities to determine whether those items were worn by suspects in the London terror cases to send a "purposeful message" to the city, according to an NYPD officials.

David Cohen, the NYPD's deputy commissioner of intelligence, raised the concern earlier this week at a security briefing for business leaders at police headquarters in Lower Manhattan.

eXe, dont' worry about what others say or think. This is about your safety and that of your family (if you have family).

I've been told to take off the tinfoil so much I'm immune to such comments.

I'm glad you have contingency plans. They could be used in the event of natural or accidental disasters, not just for terrorist attacks.

You'd be surprised just how many folks DO have plans.

We all must take personal responsibility for our safety. The gov't will protect itself. We are merely cannot fodder in their elitist eyes.

You make a good point.
If one considers History only from the human perspective, it all appears accidental.

To study History only from the human perspective is to get bogged down in the details and miss the larger picture.

I've been unable to find the names of the 911 Commission actual grunts .. the staffers who were assembling the actual data behind the scenes.

I know I have links to names of the higher-ups... let's dig & see what else is revealed...

No names yet, but fascinating other information and connections-- from this:

Clinton Admin. Knew of 9/11 Hijackers

More than a year before the 9/11 attacks, Clinton administration intelligence officials had identified four of the 19 9/11 hijackers as a terrorist threat -

including al-Qaida team leader Mohamed Atta and his partner Marwan al-Shehhi, whose planes destroyed the World Trade Center and killed over 2,700 people.

But the critical information was not acted on, at least in part, because of prohibitions against intelligence sharing

implemented by former Deputy Attorney General Jamie Gorelick,

who was reportedly installed in her post at the insistence of then - first lady Hillary Clinton.

How Chinagate Led to 9/11
By Jean Pearce
FrontPageMagazine.com | May 25, 2004

"It is no coincidence that this occurred at the same time both the FBI and the CIA were churning up evidence damaging to the Democratic Party, its fundraisers, the Chinese and ultimately the Clinton administration itself. Between 1994 and the 1996 election, as Chinese dollars poured into Democratic coffers, Clinton struggled to reopen high-tech trade to China."

http://frontpagemagazine.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=13516
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"BUT UNDERSTAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was this web of investigations that led Gorelick and Bill Clinton to erect the wall between intelligence agencies that resulted in the toppling of the Twin Towers.
"The connections go on and on, but they all lead back to Gorelick, the one person who could best explain how the Clinton administration neutered the American intelligence agencies that could have stopped the September 11 plot. Yet another high crime will have been committed if the September 11 Commission doesn’t demand testimony from her."
This is a direct quote from the article, "America's Own Non-Islamic Jihadists"
"Many Americans are oblivious to the danger posed by the ACLU. They feel they aren’t personally affected. Sadly, they are uninformed...
"A good summary would be that the ACLU is far more concerned about the rights of those who do harm to America than about honest, America-loving citizens."
Ex-Iranian leader warns IAEA resolution will 'cost' West
Just wait until they get their nukes. Funny thing how Khamenei said that nuclear weapons were against Islam: if the Iranians just want to develop nuclear power, why will Western opposition cost us dearly? This is a clear indication that nuclear weaponry is just what the Iranians are aiming to develop. From the Middle East Times, with thanks to Scaramouche:
TEHRAN -- Top Iranian figure Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said Iran's decision to resume sensitive nuclear work was "irreversible" and warned that Western opposition to Iran's program will "cost them dearly".
During a Friday sermon, the prominent ayatollah said: "You could drag things on but Iran's decision is irreversible," drawing chants of "Death to America" and "Death to Israel" from the faithful.
Rafsanjani's remarks came a day after the International Atomic Energy Agency's 35-nation board of governors adopted a resolution expressing "serious concern" at Tehran's decision to resume uranium conversion activities.
The influential former president warned worshippers not to "take lightly what happened at the IAEA. It is very important and will create new conditions for our country and the region. It will turn a new leaf in the history of our revolution.
"It will cost them dearly," he vowed, signaling the possibility of a hardened stance by a country that plays an important role in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Gulf as well as being a major oil producer.
