Lucky for us, they (unwittingly) keep these threads active. Without their (unwitting) help, these threads would peter out after about 20 replies.
I'm calling your bluff and accusing you of having no credible evidence.
In keeping with your standard of proof, your failure to respond substantively to my accusation or to sue me is conclusive proof that your are wrong and know you are wrong. ;-)
That should read: "anti-ILLEGAL immigration" movement.
"There are two ways that you can tell that Fukunaga's story is bull. First, the newspaper didn't retract the story. Second, Fukunaga didn't sue the paper...The illegals were there."
Rocky Footing News doesn't retract anything (they don't even support an archive feature - how convenient). Secondly, this story went nowhere and whoever was pushing it (Kolbe?) never revealed themselves.
But never mind...people should just take your good word for it. It's not like you have some agenda to grind or anything.
Tancredo admiited that the illegals worked on his house. As the link I provided points out, Tancredo made this admission in a House floor speech and it part of the Congressional Record.
Yes, Tancredo said he was ignorant, but ignorance of the law is no excuse in the eye of the law.
I maintain that Tancredo did know.
In Tancredo's location, it is highly likely that there would be illegals on such a job. The fact that he could easily have prevented it indicates to most people that he didn't care or didn't think he would get caught. After all, using illegals makes his cost cheaper.
I hope you understand that I don't fault Tancredo for this. He is just two-faced.
What happened?
Don't you know that when you call me a liar, you are also supposed to call me a quisling?
Evidently the newspaper has the info you are seeking.
You can be sure that in a politically sensitive situation such as this, were the newspaper to make false statements, there would be legal action taken.
I suspect that the newspaper has copies of the check stubs.
You stated in a post to judgeandjury that the sub-contractor "admitted the illegals were there." You have yet to produce a shred of evidence that any media source reported that the subcontractor "admitted the illegals were there." If any media source reported that information, please state what source made such a report. I am not asking you about the evidence the media source had for the report.
If you cannot name even one media source that reported that the sub-contractor "admitted the illegals were there,"
it is obvious that you has no basis for such a claim and that your statement to judgeandjury was a lie.
I'm sure that a left-wing, pro-Democrat newspaper like The Denver Post would never print a false statement about Cong. Tancredo. Since you trust the reporting of the left-wing, pro-Democrat Denver Post, I have a question for you. If The Denver Post has copies of check stubs, why didn't it report that it has copies of check stubs?
Chris Canmnon is determined to reqard millions of illegal aliens in this country with legal status. He seeks to pass a bill in the U.S. House of Representatives that is sponosered by John McCain and Ted Kennedy in the U.S. Senate that will reward millions of illegal aliens with legal status.
Chris Cannon that is.
Should have been "reward," not "reqard."
As for contacting whomever, You will take care of it. It is of little relevance to him because he, like you, is in a seperate reality.
Why are you opposed to the enforcement of our border control and immigration laws? State your case.
You lied when you posted a message to judgeand jury stating the sub-contractor "admitted the illegal were there." Your arguments are apparently so weak that you must resort to making up facts.
The left-wing, pro-Democrat Denver Post has never identified the illegal aliens that allegedly worked at Cong. Tancredo's house. Would a left-wing, pro-Democrat newspaper ever lie about a Republican? That could never happen.
Has the Denver Post ever produced any documentation to support its claim that illegal aliens worked at Cong. Tancredo's house? Is the word of two (2) illegal aliens the only "proof" the Denver Post has?
The September 20, 2002, Rocky Mountain News article that I produced contains no quotes from Cong. Tancredo in which he admits that illegal aliens worked on his home. The floor speech referred to in the World Net Daily article occurred on September 18, 2004.
According to a story in the Septebmer 19, 2002, edition of the left-wing, pro-Democrat Denver Post, "In a fiery speech on the House floor late Wednesday, Tancredo said he didn't know whether the drywallers were legal immigrants."
Here is a link to an October 13, 2004, about attack ads being used by his Democratic opponent: http://rockymountainnews.com/drmn/election/article/0,1299,DRMN_36_3253360,00.html . The article says the contractor denied the allegation that illegal immigrants worked on Cong. Tancredo's home. It mentions nothing about an admission by Cong. Tancredo that illegal aliens worked on his house.
The WorldNetDaily article does not contain a quote from Cong. Tancredo's speech. If there is any media source (even The Denver Post) that has ever quoted Cong. Tancredo as admitting that illegal aliens worked on his home, please state what that source. I do not believe any such source exists.
As to this comment by you, "As for contacting whomever, You will take care of it. It is of little relevance to him because he, like you, is in a seperate reality," I must ask what are you referring to?
I meant to say "please state what that source is."
I know you think that you can actually influence(spin) the world and cleanse Tanc with your replies on a thread at website that is a gathering place for hardliners and kooks.
The problem with that approach is that it is irrelevant. Your proof is irrelevant.
Normally references to events such as this drop from view with time, but this is not the case with Tanc's illegal employees. Im sure that you noted that a Google search brings many hits related to the incident, even after two years.
The incident is not going away.
You understand, this is not all bad for Tanc. Bad press is better than no press. And Tanc's big problem is no press.
If he expects to fill Pat B's shoes, he will have to say some extreme things to get people to notice him.. Even then, he has no chance of succeeding Pat B.
Tanc's problem is that he has no presence. He comes off wishy-washy, almost feminine. You may have seen his recent appearance on CNN when Zogby chewed him up. Tanc was backpeddling like a crawfish. Can you imagine what he would be like sub-ing for Pat on McLaughlin. Eleanor Clift would kick his ass.
You and Tanc should thank me/pay me money for keeping him alive, even if its only a thread at FR.
You and I support very different solutions to the same problem.
Good points "arnie"!!
There is no evidence that Tancredo had any prior knowledge that illegal aliens would be working on his home. There is no evidence that Tancredo approved of illegal aliens working on his house. There is no evidence that Tancredo knowingly hired illegal aliens to work on his house. Tancredo hired a contractor to do the work on his house and the contractor hired the workers.
