Now some fresh pickings from the Political Grapevine:
The New York Times (search) has been asking lawyers who specialize in adoption cases for advice on how to get into the sealed court records on Supreme Court nominee John Roberts' (search) two adopted children.
There is no indication The Times had any evidence there was anything improper in the family's adoption of five-year-old Josie and four-year-old Jack, both born in Latin America. Sources familiar with the matter told FOX News that at least one lawyer turned the Times down flat, saying that any effort to pry into adoption case records, which are always sealed, would be reprehensible.
A Times spokesman said the paper was simply asking questions, and that only initial inquiries had been made.

Brit deserves a medal for his report on this story.
bump
NY Slimes
Their looking for dirt, trying to see if any strings were pulled or any corners cut. If those bastards do anything to tear apart that family, it would be a new low for an already reprehensible publication.
Beneath contempt!

POS. The NYT needs to be shut down forthwith.
Perhaps the Slimes(punny!) wants to find out if the kids are illegal aliens. My they are desperate for dirt.
Oh. Is that all? Well, Mr. or Mz. SpokesPERSON, care to share some of the questions with us?
I didn't think so.
All the news that's fit to line a birdcage with.
This is the slimiest.
Maybe they got the idea from Hillary.
Trying to see if any strings were pulled or any corners cut to allow the Roberts family to adopt blond-haired, caucasian children from Latin America ahead of brown ones. It's the racial angle they are trying to play, here.
I hope at least 50% of their subscriptions are cancelled because of this.

If the intent was to remind everyone of just how biased
and contemptible this formerly respectible newspaper
has become, they exceeded their goal.
Typical liberals. Anything to dig up crap on good conservatives.
Boortz speculated the media was hoping that since his kids were South American, that Roberts may have bought them from some poor family down there.
Methinks, the NYT will wish this story--their nosying into family matters--hadn't seen the light of day. It will not sit well with ANYONE. The are a POS.
I just emailed the publisher of that fish wrap. Man this story just p****s me off!!
Everyone should write and/or call!
You failed to mention the panel discussion where Jeff Beerbaum (worse comb over on TV) and CC use to be comely applauded the the times and Bill Solomon (Stretch to his friends) and Britt Jack slapped both of them asking why would you want to unseal the records. Britt and Bill are owed great Kudos
