President George W Bush welcomes Colombia's President Alvaro Uribe to his ranch in Texas, they went for a drive, held a private meeting, and then held a joint press conference. After lunch they spent the afternoon discussing regional security and diplomatic issues.

Vice President Dick Cheney is leading a delegation to Saudi Arabia to pay respects to King Fahd (no photos or report to be found almost as if there is a media black out on this). This is strange in 2 respects one no photos and that all reports seem to indicate that all other countries sent people the previous day to the Memorial Service.

Yesterday Secretary of State paid her respects to the late Saudi King Fahd by signing the Book of Condolence in the Saudi Arabian embassy in Washington.

New U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton in his Security Council debut, pressed Syria and Iran to do more to stem the flow of terrorists, arms and funding into neighboring Iraq

Good evening, did you see Dolly's post on the finest she has been counseling family members of those killed in Iraq recently and requested prayer for them, she thinks/hopes that the counseling will be on going.

Rice taught a class there, she was probably going to mention something that she told her "HUSB students, and then put it in a more recent context of having told "The President".

I only take the time to point this out because Conde is perfect in every way, would never have made any such slip, Forthian, Freudian or otherwise. Dr. Rice is not interested in President Bush and is saving all her lovin', -for me.

I would also like to point out that Helen Thomas was present when the alledged incident took place, that fact alone ought to pretty much nullify the story ;>

Years ago there was a commercial for the Winter Olypics...Joiner-Creasy (sp) was running along a beach...Her voice over said she could run faster than all but X number of men in the world, jump higher than all but Y number etc....and the end she shyly says...."and I have red toenails...."

I was in the middle of the "Barn project" at the time, coming home from teaching, getting out the drill, sawsall, circular saw etc....When she so tragically died, I painted my toenails red....You don't have to lose your feminity when you do jobs that are considered by some outside your gender limits....and for me that's what red toenails represents....mine will stay red....fashionable or not.
