Democrats, Change Your Ways

IT IS TIME for Democrats to stop moaning about John Roberts and John Bolton and start doing something productive -- such as figuring out how to win elections.

Even though Democrats continue to resist the outcome, George W. Bush won the 2004 presidential contest. His reelection triggered a time-honored cliche: To the victor, go the spoils.

(snip)

Democrats continue to fight the last campaign, while Republicans are planning for the next two.

Democrats: just keep it up. You'll soon be as rare as trade unions.

""This week, Bush bypassed the Senate and installed Bolton as emissary to the UN. In doing so, the president broke no law; he merely used a procedure that allows him to fill vacant positions when the Senate is in recess. If Bolton is as unsuited for the position as opponents insist, that will become clear soon enough. Ultimately, any failure on Bolton's part will help Democrats in what should be the party's main goal: winning back the voters who now view them as the powerless party of the petulant.

And powerless the Democrats will remain -- unless more of them win office.""

Good points... it is sad that it is seemingly amazing when a Dem/liberal makes cogent points without frothing at the mouth...

Republicans chicken hawks.

Democrats can't be Chicken hawks, they are just draft dodgers, spineless appeasers and French loving cheese eating surrender monkeys.

Democrats the powerless party of the petulant.

That has a nice ring to it. Would make a good tagline for someone but I'm partial to mine.

This master of the obvious seems to have missed a couple
of prerequisite steps:

* Having a message that engages voters,
and even before that ...

* Standing for some set of principles that
voters might see as beneficial.

There seems to be little risk that the Dems
will reverse their current decline any time soon.

Ted Kennedy defended recess appointments that WOULD NOT HAVE PASSED A FULL FLOOR VOTE while Clintoon was in office.... Bolton would pass Full Floor Vote Handily.

Shhhssshhhhh! Keep quiet.

We Republicans want the Democrats to continue as they have been -- no plan, not solutions, only complaining and whining.

That way we will keep gaining seats in the Senate.

Democrats tried to sell their 'product' of anti-family and anti-military and pro-terrorists 'feelings' and the public ain't buying it.

Now, they have recieved marching orders from party dictator Howeird Dean to try to be pro-family and pro-war etc. etc.

Except We've been doing that for years, and the public is staying on our side

"This master of the obvious seems to have missed a couple

To which I would add to your fine list that the Democrats should stop calling everyone who doesn't fall into lockstep STUPID!

The one thing I learned from democrats, both nationally and locally here in California, this last election is that they think all us regular folk are just too dumb to think for ourselves. This is not a very good way to win elections.

Calling a Republican a "chicken hawk" is a good way to get an ass kicking as evidenced in this sound file:

Plus it's no news that Dubya and Karl Rove are planning secret political missions against the lefties and we're proud to help out in any way we can. You can hear audio on those plans here:

The demo-crat socialist are in free-fall, and cannot fiqure out that they need to dump their extremist Liberal Socialist who have hi-jacked their party, and spread their wings to slow down the decent, and express better ideas to Americans.

They simply cannot do that. The Demo-crats embrace the extremist Liberal Socialist, and they think that every American who values freedom is "stupid" and "hawkish," but, finally, they "hate what America is, and what she stands for! That in it's self will most assuredly keep the demo-crat liberal socialist in continued "free-fall!"

>>party dictator Howeird Dean

The one guy on their side they should be listening to is Zell Miller but they ignore him and made him persona non grata.
Reason? He pointed out how the Dems can't win without the South (and the "solid South" is no more for them)...and
since the Dems ignore what used to be their conservative wing, they stand no chance to win.

Conservative Dems became Republicans or Independents. Or
they became "Reagan Democrats", "Bush Democrats", crossing party lines. Ever hear of a "Kerry Republican"? Me
neither. Reagan's line about the Democratic party leaving him, not the other way around, is true yet again.
