This would be a new low, even for the Times

NY TIMES INVESTIGATES ADOPTION RECORDS OF SUPREME COURT NOMINEE'S CHILDREN
**Exclusive**
The NEW YORK TIMES is looking into the adoption records of the children of Supreme Court Nominee John G. Roberts, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
The TIMES has investigative reporter Glen Justice hot on the case to investigate the status of adoption records of Judge Roberts two young children, Josie age 5 and Jack age 4, a top source reveals.
Judge Roberts and his wife Jane adopted the children when they each were infants.
Both children were adopted from Latin America.
A TIMES insider claims the look into the adoptions records are part of the paper's "standard background check."
When reached by phone Thursday morning, Glen Justice had no offical comment.
Roberts young son Jack delighted millions of Americans during his fathers Supreme Court nomination announcement ceremony when he wouldnt stop dancing while the President and his father spoke to a national television audience.
Previously the WASHINGTON POST Style section had published a story criticizing the outfits Mrs. Roberts had them wear at the announcement ceremony.
One top Washington official with knowledge of the NEW YORK TIMES plans declared: Trying to pry into the lives of the Roberts family like this is despicable. Childrens lives should be off limits. The TIMES is putting politics over fundamental decency.
One top Republican official when told of the situation was incredulous. This cant possibly be true?

If true, this is one of the most evil things I've heard in quite some time.
Bulls***!
The liberals are desperately trying to Bork Judge Roberts, they will stoop to any low to try and make him look bad.
Have they even printed anything negative about Roberts so far?
Actually, excluding far left, they dont seem to be even trying
only posted twice so far (a new low for a Drudge article)
This is sick. Lib/Commies have no frikin' souls, tact, or decency. If they don't like Roberts fine, but you don't mess with a man's family!!
Rush is talking about this now.
Where were they when Chelsea was going through her difficult "Eleanor Roosevelt" years?

If this is their new attack strategy, they must be more desparate than we know.
Robert's kids decendants of NAZI's that fled to South America? (the kids are blonde haired*)
* Note to the NY Times. There are people born in South America that have blonde hair.
If this is their new attack strategy, they must be more desparate than we know.
That would make "scum bag" a position to aspire to at the "Slimes"
And then we can check into Sponge Bob Squarepant's property tax status on the pineapple under the sea!
/sarcasm
I thought adoption records were SEALED. How in the heck can the NYT get access to this information ..??
They're right .. this is a new low for the NYT .. why am I not surprised.

This is going to get a whole lot worse before it gets better. A cornered animal is always the most dangerous.
My fearless prediction...? You don't wanna know...
When the Times wants to get rid of a Bush Appointee, they usually demand to see all of the person's tax records to see if they can create a 'Nannygate".
Since that failed, they are going after the kids.
If the adoption process of the two children goes nowhere, perhaps they should republish Robert's High School year book photo and criticize the plaid jacket he was wearing.
