A poster on your thread made EXACTLY the point that proves this will be used to play the race card. Here is what the poster said:

"How long and hard does one have to look in Latin America to find such perfect little blondes? And how many little brown children have to get told, 'Sorry, but you just won't do. You aren't blonde enough.' I smell something here. Dare I call it racism?"

So, here we have it straight from the other side; this will be spun as a racism issue, that's what's behind it. Adopting two young children is being spun as telling poor little brown babies, "You're not good enough."

You'll also have comparisons ( insidious ones) to Negroponte..he has 5 adopted kids from Latin American, all are Latin?American/Hispanic in appearnce..

I found that thread by googling roberts/children/adopted/latin because I had not heard that before, and was wondering from where. I've heard of blondes/redheads in southern Mexico, but not the other countries in Latin America. Mere curiosity on my part, mere hatred on theirs.
