Why don't they prosecute? Because they don't WANT to.
We have a situation here in Virginia right now where Herndon plans on building a hiring hall, on county property, for "day laborers" where they'll even help match them with prospective employers.
I've called Senators Warner's and Allen's and Wolf's offices on this to express my views. I don't want a single dime of my tax money used to support law breakers and nobody wants to touch this with a 10-foot pole.
The town of Herndon has even MET with ICE officials over the issue, so immigration knows there's a specific problem at a specific location. They know which 7-11 is being used as a pick-up site but they don't have the manpower to deal with it.
To say I'm ticked is an understatement. After the few calls I've made I know I'm not going to get anywhere but I still have a few more numbers to call anyway.

This may be closer than you think. The most popular politician in Mexico is the Mayor of Mexico City and he is a flaming leftist. He may well be the next El Presidente and he may well align himself with the likes of Castro, Chavez, Lula de Silva and other leftists that seem to be getting elected South of our border.
But I don't share your optimism that this will create a solution. The misery these leftists cause will spur illegal immigration to new heights. And we might even get a "two feet on American soil" policy like we have with Cuba where anybody fleeing these communist hellholes gets automatic refugee status and eventually citizenship.
As we look at the political movement towards the left in numerous countries south of our border with these people electing socialists every chance they get I have to wonder about the intelligence of the people who keep telling us that Hispanics are natural Republicans. If that were true, these countries would not all be moving towards socialism.

Somebody needs to file a class action suit against these banks on behalf of taxpayers. It's amazing that some Americans can't qualify for home loans and the banks are lending to illegal aliens.

Why should you or I obey any laws when the state and federal government is a felon????
This is interesting since those individuals buying real estate must have proof of citizenship through the Patriot Act. Normally, if they have a valid drivers license, they can buy property.

Well I do mortgage lending for one of the banks mentioned and the information is wrong.
Some has to be "legal resident of the United States" to qualify for a mortgage.
I just looked this up again to see if it had changed.

Who cares about the law, when it comes to illegal aliens? Fake social security cards are sold on the sidewalk outside of every Federal Building. Federal agents have to push the fake ID hawkers out of the way to go to work.
(I just want a list of the laws which "really count," and I have to obey, and a list of the laws I can totally ignore, the way illegal aliens can and do, with impunity.)
I just closed the sale of a house yesterday, and the attorney was required to get a copy of the drivers license of both seller and buyer -- said it was the Patriot Act.
I'm needing a new wall to beat my head against! Doesn't surprise me about Wells Fargo. We quit banking with them when they admitted they don't check signatures or IDs.
So that's why my property tax, which a mere 10 years ago was chicken feed, is now a whopping 18% --- 18-freakin'-percent --- of my yearly take-home pay.
