My buddy just sent me a txt msg saying the power is out, the streets are flooding, the cells are down, and he heard a wind shear or tornado hit the area

Cool! How'd you get citizenship from Ireland, if I may inquire? That's one place I want to go to before I die...

I decorated my home office with an Irish motif, so I went to a store in Phoenix that was closing and bought a bunch of stuff at like 1/2 off. The owners were relocating to the Irish Cultural Center to run the gift shop there, so I learned a lot about the place and it DOES sound like a lot of fun -- I'll definitely have to check it out then!

If a parent or a grandparent was born there, you can do the paperwork (takes about a year). Google the Irish embassy or consulate for more info.

I know that shop, that's Pat Crossan's, he is a good guy and a great singer.

Yeah, it was "Ireland's Own," I think. I talked to his wife both times I was there, but I never got to meet him, unfortunately.

As far as Irish citizenship goes, I guess I'm SOL. Both sets of grandparents were born in England, but THEIR parents emigrated from Ireland. Oh well...
