Me too. He's probably just sacred. I keep hearing Jossy say how scared some of those people are of getting involved in this. Maybe he thinks going in to give a statement is the equivalent to being arrested.

Yes, they go to parties at home, not to bars obviously, since they're too young. They have great fun in a simpler way. Parties, proms, restaurants with young men who are for the most part well-behaved.
However, when the girls go to Aruba, they have no way of realizing that they have just entered a much much darker, far more sinister, atmosphere, where young women are stalked and preyed upon.
But the young women have no way of knowing that the game has changed, so they behave as they always do at home.
Can anyone honestly cast blame on these young girls for not knowing this?

Beth's description of Juran is interesting. Sounds like Juran is either at the casino or at C & C's bar alot. Wonder how the heck he ever managed to graduate.
Interesting that the Kalpoe brothers were there too when the NJ 18 year old met Juran. According to the Mom of Juran, he was not *really* good friends with the Kalpoes. riiight!
Your post makes a lot of sense. If Joran is somewhat of a predator I can see where these kids would not be able to spot that.
