You know there is a chance he did not harm her and probably a better chance that he did but until it is proven, innuendo isn't fair. I was responding to a post that suggested I was a fire ant at a social gathering and this was my response and I stand by it:
Me a fire ant? You folks have been stinging away for months now repeating scenarios as though they are facts and when someone disagrees you burn them. I do not enjoy anything about some young girl's possible death but I also don't enjoy thinking about a young man sitting in jail who did nothing wrong and is being burned at the stake because of inneundo, rumor, and gossip.
There's nothing in my post that says she was his first date rape. She may well be his first murder or kidnapping. But first date rape? No...I think he had played that game before.
We will never know. If he says he has no knowledge of what happened to her, then he's lying.

Trust me, persons who have nothing to hide don’t change their stories numerous times. If my “innocent” kid was suspected of involvement in such a thing, my home and propertie(s) would be opened with no warrant needed in order to help clear his name. I would be doing everything necessary to help the missing girl’s family find the truth. This suspect is in custody because there is reason to believe he committed a heinous crime.
Hopefully, the LE system in Aruba will be able to rise to the occasion after many errors and end the speculation. This suspect is locked up due to his own actions, not due to persons on Free Republic discussing possible scenarios.

It's conceivable that the witness wrote down the wrong license plate numbers/letters.

That is possible. But a stolen plate makes sense if you are committing a crime.
