Either way, this needs to be trumpeted by the pubbies (although they won't, and even if they did, the MSM would never cover it)
That's what WE'RE here for.
heh-heh!

"On Chrissy Matthews show today a Democratic strategist said the dems got what they wanted: they knew they could not keep Bolton out so they were able to WEAKEN him on the way to the UN. " That would show the freaking Demorats have more loyality to the U.N. that America....
That -- or they hate Bush and their loss of power more than they love America...
In either case --- the bastards need to be driven from public service....by ANY means necessary.

Excellent piece. George Allen is right, the senators have embarrassed themselves. President Bush should not have had to resort to a recess appointment.

my favorite line: the senators will get over it a long time before they get over themselves.

I love Wes Pruden's columns! Bare knuckled prose and colorful to boot. (BTW On his recent vacation he cruised through NC, he said, for some NC BBQ. LOL)
You and Pruden are my favorite Arkansas natives, kcvl!

What was Carol Mosely-Braun's reception as US Ambassador to New Zealand like?

I know it is fruitless and unhealthy to argue with the MSM TeeVee, but I too cannot help myself and limit my exposure to these Traitors, Liars and Useful Idiots!
Someday soon these Dinosaurs will be history, they know it and if one watches closely this fear is evident in their soulless eyes and screeching attacks against any any countervailing arguments to their manic ideology, they are reeking of FEAR!
That glorious day is coming and will be a blessing!

One of those enemies is the UN.

Wesley Pruden calls them the way he sees them. With sly wit and charm. And absolutely no apologies for bruised egos and spilled Blue blood!!!
So refreshing, after watching CBS's early, early morning "Breaking News" and its achingly dull whine fest from DC's Droning Heads of the Left!!!
Jack.

"Liberal democrats are famous for implying their views and beliefs onto those who listen to try to make their listeners believe it as well. They DIDN'T get what they wanted. Bolton's not weakened with this at all; I'd even call it a badge of honor to be hated by these types.
IOW, They failed."
I don't think so. They delayed this just so long as to get rid of most if not all of the evidence that Clinton's Oil for Food buddies stole.
They pulled the same crap right before we went into Iraq. The WMD's were there, they just delayed it long enough so that Hussein can get them to Syria then blame Bush for lying about the WMD's.
ps. Why isn't Kennedy and Durbin in prison for treason?

Clinton made 144 in 8 years.
Do you have a link to the 144 number? One source I found had 140 so I'm not sure what the correct number is regarding Clinton....

Here's my favorite line from the article!
Barack Obama of Illinois, looking up from the little pocket mirror he carries with him for these occasions, thinks John Bolton's "history of inflammatory statements about the U.N." will make it difficult to work with the other delegates who are, as we all know, red-hot for "necessary reforms."
You gotta love Wes!
