Couric should just retire and fade away. That fake 'perkiness' she attempts to display while venom oozes from every pore does not belong on ANY newscast, let alone an evening newscast.
Ah, but who watches CBS news anyway?

Oh, brother. CBS news anchor Katie Couric-- ack. I feel sorry for my local CBS affiliate. It's conservative. It's no fun calling them and giving them an earful. Katie is a bad move.

So they let go of Dan Rather because of his obvious bias and stupid pet tricks.. and then they go after Katie?

Katie passes CBS' liberal idiot requirement for the job.You got that right. Actually, in the "liberal idiot requirement," she may even exceed Dan Rather.

So it's clear that CBS isn't going to make an effort to undo the damage done by Rathergate...works for me.

Is any of this bunch EVER going to catch a clue and go fair and balanced and start telling some truth and blow the doors off the competition?
I'm frankly surprised that Murdoch hasn't done it because the opportunity is there, and I wouldn't want to be the second one to get to it. And he has the vehicle to get it done.

Truly, she is the perfect replacement for "it doesn't matter if it's true or not" Dan Rather. Congrats CBS, you've outdone yourselves. Courage! Everyone!
To: Sub-Driver
wow, is she still on the air? I had no idea. But since 9/11 haven't Americans suffered enough?
To: Sub-Driver
Why would she change jobs? She can't interview anyone live on the evening show. Since she is so fond of pandering I would assume she would stay put.

I guess what she is saying is that NBC is the "four cylinder network." Maybe she thinks CBS operates on five cylinders.

Dan Rather to be replaced by "perky" Kattie Couric...heh

Evidently Perkie is saying that NBC is the "four cylinder network." Maybe she thinks CBS runs on five cylinders.
