Welcome to Free Republic.
As if the "normal" traffic and weather in NYC weren't already enough.
Thanks!
"Suspicious package" + "Port Authority" = on initial inspection did not appear to be empty bottle of Night Train in brown paper bag.
Second time I've had the 'fun'of witnessing this.
Last time was end of May before Lndon happened.
This time around the average joe acted much more freaked out.
Its good they check things out though.
Earlier in the morning before it was temporarily shutdown, my bf and i were waiting for a train and there was a big tan backpack sitting next to the supports next on th esubway platform.
Everyone else was oblivious to it (idiots !), but I started asking who it belonged to.
Some stupid girl who was standing 6 feet away from it finally said it was hers.
argh.
I need to move to the countryside kids.
Be safe.
Thanks, you too.
Ever Vigilent. Never Fearful.
