When Dodd said the congress wouldn't have confidence in Bolton, the interviewer should have said, "Sez who????"
Dodd keeps forgetting he's in the minority, and does not speak for the congress!

We the people or the United States of America, from whom your wages come, have absolute confidence in Bolton and agree with President that he is the man for the job at this time-period.
The only thing about you, Senator Dodd, that we are absolutely confident about, is that every thing you do is, was and always will be in the interest of what is best for Dodd and his Party regaining the power of your and it's infamous glory days.
Put Bolton to work for us-send Dodd home to work for himself.

Dodd and Fat Teddy party hard down in D.C. Remember the waitress they sexually assaulted on the table in that trendy restaurant? Listing Fat Teddy's crimes would take too much space -- both he and Dodd are 'damaged goods'.

"Sandwich" Dodd is damaged goods with 90% of the small percentage of Americans who recognize his name, and yet he remains in the Senate, decade after decade...

Dodd uses a great tactic: first he sears Bolton, then calls him damaged goods. Dodd has a damaged brain!

Well, if Dodd's not speaking for the Congress, then Schumer is, or Kennedy is, or Clinton is.....the msm just fawn over these morons.

If the Dems would allow Congress to vote on Bolton, we could see if what Dodd says is true. My money says Dodd is lying.I THINK THAT SHOULD BE THE E-MAIL OF THE DAY TO THE SENATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chris Dodd is a twit. What else would anyone expect him to say about any appointment by the President?

If Dodd is so sure that Bolton is unwanted why not allow a vote?
Because he KNOWS that Bolton would be confirmed with room to spare.

I don't think that Bush should recess appoint Bolton. Dubya should just keep sending Bolton's name up for confirmation, month after month, until he gets an up or down vote in the Senate. If he had a better majority leader in the senate it would be different too, than that gutless wonder Frist.

Yay! Someone else remembered this incident. I can't look at him without experiencing the "yuck" factor.
If that waitress voted D before that incident, I would be surprised if she didn't vote R afterwards.

Considering Congress fiddled while Oil For Food was going on, I don't give a rat's hairy hind end what Congress thinks now.

The dems are real desperate and have brought out those they consider to be the big guns.
Dodd, like Kennedy is so much hot air.
If you listen carefully, you hear all the talking points, over and over.
Their theory seems to be that if you say it enough times, someone will start to believe it.
Case in point,Bolton,.
They have been beating him up since March and have come up with nothing more than innuendos, not facts.
Oh, to work in Washington. What a place.
