I am amazed by the statistic of 5% I thought that the US was the country of the personal trainer and the local gyms. I know that the obesity figures are very high for the US but I thought that there was also a lot of people that exercised somehow I had the picture of 2 extremes

I do not know the figures but I am certain that it is more than 5% for adults in the UK judging by the number of people at work who either work out or are involved in local sports.

The people who work out are avid, but there aren't very many.

People in the UK are more fit generally, because of more walking (fewer POV). But you're catching up to us, snugs. You'd better watch out!
