I just saw REK in NYC last night. He was even better than usual. I love Corpus, and Tom Ames (which he never seems to play)! But RGOF still rocks the house. The concert was in an old War of 1812 fort with a view of the Statue of Liberty. It was amazing. And, he's Jenna Bush's fave.

It's a very long story but yes, I played in bands you've never heard of for about 1980 to 1995 or so. When I started my own business I could no longer practice and/or appear in the appointed club at the appointed time. They still sometimes call for me to sit in but my timing is shot and I doubt that I can get it back. Drums are in the attic collecting dust. Piano just sits there and makes a good ornament and shelf.

In that song Procol Harum and Robin Trower are backed up by the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Quite a combination. You never expect to hear those two names in the same sentence.
