what day was this?
Thanks for that link Deejay... I hadn't seen it and it is by FAR the most objective overview I've seen on this case..
I don't think the name of the hotel has ever been reported either. Not naming the hotel she worked at was probably intentional.
"Sorry Graduation was Thursday night at 6:00pm on 6/9 (same day as the last day of school) Graduation was at the Wyndham Hotel. He and Kalpoes were arrested on the 12th I think."
Didn't AVDS say that he was arrested on the morning of his graduation day? I thought I read that somewhere.
Per Dave Holloway the witness stated that the white pickup truck at or near the HI was on 6/1.
The Renee guy was killed on 6/10 - 6/11 (the date of the supposedly false report of Natalee's body being found).
I can't remember the date. I'm sure it was during the early part of June. I bet TexKat has the article.
I think she said that too. She was sobbing and said he was arrested the morning of his graduation.
when I first checked the website some time ago. There was note on the website that Graduation was on the 12th. (I might be where you got the info from) But now that I have gone back to the site I see that it was on the 9th. (school was out at 10am for seniors on 6/9) then I believe he was arrested on 6/12 (Saturday morning very early in the morning).
I recall AVDS saying he made his graduation and did graduate.
Yes I did.
I have never actually seen Susan C. do any investigated type work.. but was impressed with her persona...
So was I.
when was Joran arrested - I can't remember
Have we not heard of two landfill witnesses tonight?
On Nancy Grace, she asked Jossy if his landfill witness was the "tin man", the man who collects metals from the landfill. Jossy said yes.
The other I can't pinpoint where it came from due to "information overload," if I might borrow that phrase from another freeper. The story says the landfill operator was a witness.
Can anyone verify this story of the landfill operator as a witness?
I miss KarlP and his reporting style. :( :(
Susan is okay, but I wish CNN would bring Karl back. He was there from the beginning and I like his accent. lol
I have wondered about his selection from the beginning...his most recent resume didn't seem to fit the case. But I think he did say tonight that the FBI here has hours of tape from the interrogations, so I'm wondering if he's not back to use his layered voice analysis on that. I don't know exactly how that works or what kinds of questions were asked...but there might be a goldmine of information he's gathering while he's here and the tv appearances might be just his contribution to keeping the attention on the case.
That timeline
http://members.aol.com/worldJOURNIER/NATALEE/NATALEEtimeline.html
says J and the K's were arrested, but not charged, on 6-9.
The partially decapitated man (Renee Van Heyningen) was an employee at Valero Refinery.
I've heard both tonight, don't know what's the truth, if either is.
Maybe at first though, they didn't want to say he was the owner, since that would be pretty specific in identifying him.
Fear for his safety, maybe.
The confusion may be from me (with help from Jossey). At one point on one show he said he couldn't identify the witness, then on another the interviewer said isn't this the man who works the landfill and Jossey said yes.
So, semantics were mine and thus the tin can (no pun intended) game began and it looked like two witnesses. Although, Jossey has now expanded to have this person
"observing" in a red jeep which was not in his early landfill stories.
Whos on first?
So that must be who he was talking about when he reported the following on On The Record:
The witness does not identify the 3, but identifys the man that was standing outside of the cyclone fence, but Jossy does not want to mention this man's name.
That makes sense since the fishermen sighting only saw a jeep type vehicle but no people.
