Unbelieveable, isn't it. Now we don't if the witness if scared or she in fact, she doesn't remember. EEEKKKK!!!
Why on earth would they have even revealed the information about the witness until they had a written statement from her. So much for witnesses feeling free to talk now. If they do, they will have CNN on their doorstep and the whole town will know who they are.
I wonder if the PI is spending too much time on talk shows and not enough time getting signed statements from witnesses.

Machine? What does that mean...a truck? A machine of some sort dumped in the landfill? Maybe a digging machine, so the body could be buried farther down, instead of just being thrown on the surface of the landfill? Just a guess.
To: TexKat
They are showing a machine digging mud out of the pond and then going through it with rakes.....they really must think something is there, right?

To: TexKat
That makes sense....sort of....if they've been watching and investigating the owner, sneakily. I don't have a lot of faith in that, though.

Tim Miller now saying a backhoe, at the landfill, that was the machine that the witness saw.
Also saying the witness at the landfill has been afraid for his life all this time.

But they have more than one witness who saw the care there, right?

We could start a flame war and get moved back there, I guess! LOL

Dave Holloway is on H&C...
Says that Aruba LE is more interested in the "pond" area, Aruba LE balked at Landfill story and decided to investigate the "pond" area. Tim from the TX search team decided go ahead and start searching the landfill while Aruba LE searches the "pond" area.

Isn't everyone in Aruba afraid
for their life? Or does it
just seem like it?

Saw a machine come in My grandfather used to call a car a machine - was an old-fashioned name for a car.

Would be nice to know the timing. The HI sighting said 3 males seen loading what appeared to be a body into the back of the white truck. The landfill sighting said 3 males seening unloading a female body from a white pickup truck. Seems these two events would have happened close together and in sequence. Dave Holloway just said June 1st>

(Just because you did not see it or read it, that does not mean it did or did not happen.)

Machine? What does that mean...a truck? A machine of some sort dumped in the landfill?Machine might = 'bulldozer'...have to keep remembering that a lot of the info is being translated. Could be that a bulldozer pushed up a hill of trash & a body was partially exposed???

TexKat, that's the thing, no time was given with these reports, at least none that I picked up.
Are they trying to represent that they went back to her room? If so, the room was all neat, undisturbed. Doesn't make sense.
However, I will say, they did clamp down on the traveling group...nada has really come forth with specifics of just how the rooms and that night went down.
It's true, it does bother me that she wasn't noticed missing until the airport (if that truly is the case). I mean absolutely nothing against Natalee by saying that, I just mean hopefully, there is more information than we know at the moment; I know Beth asked everyone to not speak, and I respect that at such a vulnerable time in the case.
It's possible they were all spotted back at the hotel; again, they say when people lie they tend to end up letting a part of the truth in.
If her room did open up to the beach, what an easy access point, whether she wanted it to be or not. Her roommates could have traded rooms etc or pulled all-nighters.
One last thing, one of the fishing boats at some point reported a white jeep didn't they on the beach? Might that have been a pickup truck? Very similar, especially the mini's.
