TexKat, that's the thing, no time was given with these reports, at least none that I picked up.
Are they trying to represent that they went back to her room? If so, the room was all neat, undisturbed. Doesn't make sense.
However, I will say, they did clamp down on the traveling group...nada has really come forth with specifics of just how the rooms and that night went down.
It's true, it does bother me that she wasn't noticed missing until the airport (if that truly is the case). I mean absolutely nothing against Natalee by saying that, I just mean hopefully, there is more information than we know at the moment; I know Beth asked everyone to not speak, and I respect that at such a vulnerable time in the case.
It's possible they were all spotted back at the hotel; again, they say when people lie they tend to end up letting a part of the truth in.
If her room did open up to the beach, what an easy access point, whether she wanted it to be or not. Her roommates could have traded rooms etc or pulled all-nighters.
One last thing, one of the fishing boats at some point reported a white jeep didn't they on the beach? Might that have been a pickup truck? Very similar, especially the mini's.

(Just because you did not see it or read it, that does not mean it did or did not happen.)

No, the lawyer said a 'jeep like vehicle'. CNN later added 'white'.
