Lauren!!!!! I had a good day. Work was light and we had a good time. Some of the girls went to Penney's to shop for shoes, we were so slow!

There's another story about the Paladin cards. CBS for some inexplicable reason,never copyrighted them, and a rodeo cowboy who had a running feud with the studio actually copyrighted them in the 70's, after the show had ended. He used that coup to fight the producers for years, holding up the release of the show on video thru the 90's. (The guy died in the early 90's, after tying up the Paladin name for years. He never collected money from the court judgements he won over the years.)
Here is a plot outline.
"The Flashing Blade was a twelve part adventure drama centering around the war between France and Spain. It was set at a place called Casal during the year of 1630 and a Castle on the border between France and Spain is under siege from Spanish forces. Two Frenchmen (the heroes of the story) with a wicked sense of humour appear and make merry hell for the Spaniards. Francois de Chevalier and his servant Guillot are the story's main characters. The Spanish hear of a possible truce between France and Spain but some of the Spanish elite do not want a truce until the fort of Casal is taken. Hence they begin a bombardment of the battlements and try everything they can to prevent any form of truce being signed."
