(FAIRFIELD, OH) -- The Fairfield Fire Department is offering a 5,000 dollar reward for information leading to an arrest in a fire that destroyed a car belonging to the family of Tim Hines.
Anyone with information can call a special tip line at 513-867-4254 in the case.
The car was destroyed on Saturday.
Today, firefighters from the department walked the neighborhood distributing flyers with the number in hopes of gathering new leads.
Hines was an Iraq War veteran who was laid to rest just the day before. He died in a Washington Hospital after being critically injured by a roadside bomb in Iraq on Father's Day.
He's survived by his wife Katy, a daughter, and a son due to be born any day.
On Saturday, someone gathered the American Flags from Hine's in-laws yard and burned them under a car.
Neighbors have since replaced the flags.
My old stomping grounds - it is surprising for something like this to happen in that area.
Retards.
This has to be a hate crime.
I suspect that the Moveon/commies are cracking up, they appear to be pushing the hate movement.
