Senior clerics denounce faxed Zarqawi 'death list' (Zarqawi vs Hizbullah)

BEIRUT: Grand Mufti Sheikh Mohammad Rashid Qabbani and Higher Shiite Council Vice-President Sheikh Abdel-Amir Qabalan spoke out in denunciation of a recent communique claiming Al-Qaeda is targeting prominent Lebanese Muslims. Qabbani and Qabalan said that the communique aimed to stir sectarian strife among Muslims in Lebanon by attacking religious figures known for their piety and care for Islamic and national interests.

Qabbani's and Qabalan's word came in reply to the letter's announcement that Al-Qaeda's Abu Musab al-Zarqawi of Iraq has established a cell in Lebanon that is planning to assassinate nine Shiite leaders, including Speaker Nabih Berri and high-ranking Hizbullah leaders.

According to the communique, the death list targets "leaders in the country of Muslims who authorized cooperation with the Crusaders and Jews against the soldiers of God on earth, the sons of Islam, who are fighting the Americans and Jews in the country of the two tributaries and al-Sham."

Among the individuals marked for assassination are: Sheikh Abdul-Amir Qabalan, senior Shiite cleric Sayyed Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah, the Tyre and Jabal Amel Mufti Sayyed Ali Amin and religious scholar Sheikh Majed al-Khafaf. The death list of Zarqawi's alleged hit team also targets the head of Hizbullah's bloc in Parliament, MP Mohammad Raad, Hizbullah's Commander for the South Sheikh Nabil Qaouk, the party's Shura Council member Sheikh Mohammed Yazbek and Hizbullah's deputy secretary general Sheikh Naim Qassem.

Maybe Zarqawi will cause enough trouble for Iran's Shi'ite mullahs, coupled with Hizballah they will be too busy blowing each other up to focus on 'other terrorist targets', plus greatly thin out the ranks of the world's worst jihad related madmen.

Zarqawi isn't Bin Laden, they had a several year running disagreement about this, which is why Zarqawi somewhat left the origional al-Qaeda to do his own thing, and that is because Bin Laden wants to work with Shia groups that are like-minded, however Zarqawi wants to commit genocide against all Shia so I wouldn't dismiss this offhand.

"Confusing post. Could you clarify further what you are trying to explain?"

If your question is in reference to my comments in post #37 where in response to a comment made by softewarecreator in post #19.........refereing to some of Muslims as being like hyeans.

My reply took two parts. Part one. A reply to poster.
Part 2. Two reference's they might want to view/download.
I included some download/installation instructions for the Hadith database files, and gave an example of a particular writting in that Hadith, with reference to a verse in the Qu'ran. I also provided an example from the Hadith. Then
under the underlines, I made note that the particular writting in that Hadith book, made reference to a particular verse in the Qu'ran. So I showed the verse as one would see it written in the suggested on-line Qu'ran I made reference to. The verbage was offered in the hope that if the poster wished to download the Hadith, and view the on-line Qu'ran, my instructions would help them see how to cross reference info from the Hadith with the Qu'ran.

I hope my answer is adequate. Sorry if it confused you.

Exactly. It's tough deciding which group of scumbags to hate more. Maybe they will kill each other off and we can just call the game a tie.
