This would be quite funny except for the tradgedy of being a "subject of the Crown" rather than a "citizen".

The .44 Magnum revolver - "the most powerful handgun in the world" is NOT! A .454 Casull or .480 is more powerful.

The 'police' are dismayed at people having guns.
I hope the British are happy with their 'police state'.

If we didn't have a discharge reg where I live, I'd be out in back with my .44 Mag (S&W) culling the herd who eat my landscaping - LOL! Actually, I'd probably not want to blow them apart so bad, so I'd in reality opt for something a bit more graceful - I love venison!

A spokeswoman for the Home Office confirmed that an exemption had been made under the Firearms Amendment Act, 1997, to allow the use of handguns "as slaughtering instruments for the humane killing of animals".
Then you should be able to carry on the subway, right?

"It may seem incredible to a layman that that is the case, but it does to us as well. Very few stalkers use handguns unless they are in very dense undergrowth, where it is difficult to use a rifle, and most would use .38 calibre weapons."Unbelievable, but I guess I understand... You've got people who know nothing about guns in general, and hunting handguns in particular, making decisions about what handgun to use for hunting.
I suppose that a .38 special or .357 magnum would be OK if you're going to finish off a deer in the head at close range, but as far as using a handgun to hunt deer, the minimum I would ever use would be a .41 magnum, and a .44 magnum would be the best.
As for the recidulous comment about the .44 magnum being the most powerful handgun in the world, well, I guess they don't watch many movies over there...

Use enough gun. Anything less is stupid and inhumane, and potentially suicidal.

I wouldn't last long over there, I'd be locked up for disrespect or for pi$$ing on some mandate or another.
Couldn't do it, I refuse to beg for equality, freedom or free speech.

Most powerful handgun in the world?
600 Nitro?
Or 50 BMG?

The Brits have perfected the aims of the Democratic party; demonise anything larger than a BB gun as abnormal and psychotic. Too f'n bad for them.
