Actually, I think it might have been hotter in No Dak than it was here.
Last night, I drove through the worst rain I've ever driven in on my way home from Akron in that clash of heat and cold in the atmosphere.
But I saw some of the most incredible displays of lightening that I've EVER seen in my life! VERY cool!
The temp dropped 30 degrees, so we are A-OK now.

We had a terrible storm last night with tornadoes...luckily they didn't touch down, pretty scary here by myself.....but the good news is that the storms brought cooler weather...todays high was 77 instead of 115(w/heat index)....

That WAS some storm system, but oddly enough, ohio, I was over in Niles, not here. The rain was some of the heaviest I've seen in awhile. And because of worries about the weathr,I decided to spend the night there.
Thank goodness when I arrived home this a.m....no sign of any damage, limbs down, etc. Bad damage on the Cleveland lakefront, tho.
