President Bush went to Capitol Hill this morning, accompanied by Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert, to meet with and speak to the House Republican Conference and discuss issues and encourage support for CAFTA. Later he welcomed March of Dimes National Ambassador, Navy Anderson of Logan, Utah in the Oval Office, and then greeted the 2005 Boys and Girls Senators in the East Room. The Senators were selected to represent their states by the American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary. Tonight the President will be traveling to Ft. A.P. Hill in Virginia to address the Boy Scout Jamboree meeting there, to voice his support of the Scouts, and his thoughts and prayers for the families of the leaders who were killed yesterday.
ENJOY your trip to Sanity Island, and the Daily Dose!!
great photo...
i love ice cream and i love dubya...
I think by now there are only a few 'stragglers' on the Dose.
What do you think?
Me too..........to BOTH. :)
I've never seen Jurassic Park....Can you give more details.
yeah. mr president is really... oh wow!!!!
i`ll be in washington next saturday!!!!!! YEAH!!!!
If you can, form your lips into an "oo" vowel and then trill for a while (around A above middle C and then falling slightly), and you'll get the idea.
(OK......that sounds really weird!)
I think you're right!
[What REALLY disgusts me about Hacket is his use of the Iraq War to pummel the President . . . Hacket is an Iraq War veteran and has taken both to ridiculing the war effort and to calling the President a chickenhawk . . . And this is Matt Maupin's district (His parents voted for the President and are supporting Jean Schmidt (R))! . . . It makes makes me sick to think he might win this election!
Will you get to go to the White House and see where our wonderful President and his lovely Lady live??
How long will you be in Washington?
When does it sing? Could it be an owl of some type?
Thank goodness when I arrived home this a.m....no sign of any damage, limbs down, etc. Bad damage on the Cleveland lakefront, tho.
The enemy (and I MEAN the enemy) can't win this one!
With Hackett being a vet, he and the dems will play that up. Think it will be close.
sure i will!!!!!!! i hope they`ll be there!!!!! i can`t wait to be in dc!!!!
i`ll be there until 9th agoust... more ore less 10 days... i hope they`ll not be in crawford...
It started from the bottom and then branched out like a river with a thousand tributaries completely across the sky. And it did that repeatedly.
I've never seen anything like it anywhere.
I haven't heard anything about the Cleveland damage. Do they think it was a tornado, or straight line winds?
AM about ready to fall asleep at the computer.....WIll work on the bird song tomorrow.....Saw a Great Blue Heron this evening at a friends pond....Was once visited by a Small Blue, but never the big one....
I've heard it in the evening, but I've also heard it during the day at times. Never at night.
***I've never seen Jurassic Park....Can you give more details***
Me, too.
Is that whirring sound sorta like a Zeeee sound? If so, I've got your answer.
Sorry, I just read your second post about the bird sound. Nope, I don't know what they are.
When you first get to DC, they should still be there. (I HOPE.........for you!!)
The last time I went to the WH, the clintons were there, and I was very angry that they were spoiling OUR house by living there!
I would LOVE to go inside now, and know that our WONDERFUL First Couple live there!
Because this election is going to be close, it's going to require MAJOR prayer support for our candidate!
[I reeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally didn't want to have to endure another pressure election this close to last year's 'mother of all elections'!!!]
