A Day in the Life of President Bush - 7.27.05

President Bush went to Capitol Hill this morning, accompanied by Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert, to meet with and speak to the House Republican Conference and discuss issues and encourage support for CAFTA. Later he welcomed March of Dimes National Ambassador, Navy Anderson of Logan, Utah in the Oval Office, and then greeted the 2005 Boys and Girls’ Senators in the East Room. The Senators were selected to represent their states by the American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary. Tonight the President will be traveling to Ft. A.P. Hill in Virginia to address the Boy Scout Jamboree meeting there, to voice his support of the Scouts, and his thoughts and prayers for the families of the leaders who were killed yesterday.

We had a terrible storm last night with tornadoes...luckily they didn't touch down, pretty scary here by myself.....but the good news is that the storms brought cooler weather...todays high was 77 instead of 115(w/heat index)....

There were tornado warnings in the Akron area (where I was visiting), but I don't think any touched down.

We went from about 95 (very hot for here..........we don't get oppressive heat for some reason) to about 65 now.

I actually need long pants to stay warm!

Cool weather is coming your way....actually the actual temp before heat index for the last several days have been over 100....even the dogs didn't want to go outside...I had to push them out the door..

Indeed she is one elegant lady those youngsters who IMHO opinion dressed inappropriately last week or was it the week before when visiting the White House could do well in taking a leaf out of her book to see what is the correct code of dress for those sort of invitations.

I'd love the help! I've moved at least 26 times before this. Those are the ones I can remember. The older I get, the harder it is, despite how much stuff I've divested myself of over the last ten years.

I don't mind the change at all; it's the sorting, donating, boxing, hauling, financing the move, etc., etc.

Since you're probably too far away to help pack, any prayers for order and for my back to hold out in good shape would be welcome.
