With friends like these.... (Jack Kelly on PA's Lt. Gov's gauche funeral crashing faux pas!)

Moore used footage of Maj. Stone's funeral at Arlington National Cemetery in his antiwar propaganda film, Fahrenheit 9/11. He did so without the permission of Maj. Stone's family.

The family was not pleased. Maj. Stone's mother called Moore a "maggot that eats off the dead."

Catherine Baker Knoll has done Moore one better (or worse).

On July 19th, a funeral service was held at St. John Lutheran Church in Carnegie for Staff Sergeant Joseph Goodrich, 32. Goodrich and fellow Marine reservist Lance Corporal Ryan Kovacicek, 22, were killed by mortar fire July 10th while conducting combat operations in Hit, in western Iraq.

Catherine Baker Knoll, who lives in nearby McKees Rocks, crashed the funeral, plopping herself down in the pew next to Linda Kubiak, Goodrich's aunt. During the communion service, Knoll told Kubiak she attends 90 percent of these "functions" across the state.

"This was not a function," fumed Rhonda Goodrich, Joseph's sister in law. "A function is a dinner or an awards ceremony. This was my brother-in-law's funeral."

Then Knoll handed Kubiak her business card and confided: "I want you to know our (state) government is against this war."

"When my sister in law related that to us, everyone just gasped," said Goodrich's mother, Patricia.

I dunno, maybe I'm overrreacting, but I think this Knoll slug, this miserable excuse for a human being, ought to at the utleast be tarred and feathered and run out of the state of Pensylvania - unless of course she's representative of Pennsylvanians...

I'm from PA, and she is, by no means, representative of the people of this state. Her behavior was truly disgraceful, but I don't think she has the decency to resign.

"I think this Knoll slug, this miserable excuse for a human being"

I tend to judge people, especially women, for how vain they are. And, sorry to say it, one of the easiest ways to judge vanity is by the difference between how they look in real life versus the "official portrait."

Hillary is a perfect example. The photo on her biography is a decent photo but it is only the result of hours of computer-generated touchup. She is hardly 25% as attractive as the photo. She's also heavier and blotchier in complexion.

Same with the "distinguished" (or "extinguished") Lt Gov of Pennsylvania.

Here is her official portrain as LtGov:

And here is what she looks like in real life -- uglier, older, heavier:

Very nice of her to remind us of what scum the rats are. As an American and a marine I am very sad that she decided to do it at this hero's funeral, but a rat by any other name would always smell the same.

To tell the truth, it's getting hard to tell dems and republicans apart. both want to stomp all over the Constitution, the dems just use spiked boots.

Isn't that the Green Pary motto?
