If you look up characteristics of a sociopath, you will NOT find:
good-looking
has good grades
parties a lot
attracts good-looking gals
Characteristics of a sociopath have to do with lying, basically living a lie, and having no conscience, no feelings of remorse, no firm grasp on what is right and what is wrong.
Your lack of logic, and basic common sense, is astounding.
Maybe you like to keep bringing up your son because talking about how good-looking and wonderful he is makes you look good, or so you think?

My posts (and a couple of Rippersnapper's in response) did not address what sociopathy IS. They addressed what sociopathy ISN'T.
And they were very sprecifically addressed to Gary's portrayal of Joran vdS as a "sociopath," based on (a) some teenaged boy behavior that is quite typical and (b) a slew of anonymous, malicious rumors.

You missed the point entirely. I listed both "bad" and "good" traits of my son in order to compare him to what we know about Joran. (Since you seem to be envious, comfort yourself that I also have two relatively nerdy sons --and how many times have I mentioned that already? Ten?)
And please note: I don't keep "bringing up" my son. Others keep bringing him up (most of them also having entirely missed my point in comparing him with Joran)...
...and I (obviously in mostly "futile" hope of reasonable conversation with some posters), make the mistake of keeping on responding to them. (To those of you who've been supportive both in public and private posts --thanks!)
