Just guessing, of course, but since he is a Layered Voice Analyst, he probably has more sophisticated equipment (maybe a sound lab) at his office.
I don't know, I questioned why he was chosen in the first place. (Not that he doesn't have impressive credentials, just that they didn't seem to fit a missing person investigation.) It could be, as Dark Skies suggested, that his equipment is here and it could also be the investigation is closer to complete than we know.
Mr. Ward stated earlier this week on one of the cabal news shows that he would be returning to Atlanta this week and then going back to Aruba Sunday with a friend. It may have been in one of his interviews on Hannity & Colmes.
