Just guessing, of course, but since he is a Layered Voice Analyst, he probably has more sophisticated equipment (maybe a sound lab) at his office.
The PI also mentioned (or was asked about) a witness that was no longer in Aruba - a shop owner in Charleston or somewhere??? Maybe he is back to interview her or other witnesses that are here?
