Increasing the reward for safe return makes me wonder if they have received some new information. Maybe someone who knows enough to indicate that she may be alive, but not enough to help get her back. Now that is something I could get very excited about. That would be a very good thing, especially if the hair was not hers and the material not her top.

Tex, is Greta in Aruba tonight? I don't think so, she was on the View in NY this morning.

Beth just responded to a caller who asked what happens to the money if Natalee is not found. Beth stated that the money would come forth when Natalee is returned safely in their arms.

I believe evil minds have already thought up that scheme. Remember the missionaries (Martin and Gracia Burnham) that were kidnapped in the Philippines? IIRC, that was about getting a ransomthe terrorists kidnapped a bunch of people from that swank hotel, assuming that they were welathy tourists and that they would get a hefty ransom for them.

Dave states that as a father and a parent he holds on to hope that Natalee is still alive, they have heard the rumors of Natalee possibly being in Venezuela but the ALE always comes back and informs them that this is a murder case. Well, THAT is interesting. Particularly in light of the recently upped rewards for Natalee's safe return. Does ALE have any evidence to prove a murder took place? We have been told there was a confession. Retracted. There they found her body. Retracted. Waht is their evidence of a murder?

The problem is people are coming in starting the thread at some point before that post was done. They don't wait until they finish the whole thread or until they catch up before they respond. So you will continue to see people responding to that post because it was so ignorant and really had nothing to do with the case. I responded because the poster posted to me because I posted a "Short Cut List" for someone else and it bothered this person that I put Natalee's Step-Father by JT = Jug Twitty's name (which is fact). Not only was this post directed to me it also offended me because I am a step-parent and because the post was so ignorant. (I see many others also agree)
The point of this post is not to rehash it but to point out that people will continue to reply to it as they come across that post. This happens often on FR and even if I ignored the post that was directed to me to begin with, others are going to respond to it.

The racquet club was searched early on in the investigation per Dave and per Jug. I believe that they will request that Equusearch search it again when they return.

Jossie's business is to sell newspapers, and he should be looked at in that context, imho.

Earlier reports said that, if a body were thrown in the water on the West side of the island, the tides would take it out to sea. Which is it? Depends on how far out the body is dumped. 300 yards out to sea and the sea will take it away. 50 yards off the coast and it washed back in. They needed a boat.

Has anyone looked into T.J. Ward, the new investigator? (I say new because I remember Miller saying that there was a private investigator previously involved.)
This is from his Voice Analysis Company:
Voice Analysis, Inc. was jointly founded by T. J. Ward, President and CEO of Investigative Consultants International, Inc., a licensed private investigator, associate certified fraud examiner and former law enforcement officer...
In addition to being a P.O.S.T. certified law enforcement officer, Ward served as a paramedic and fireman early in his career. In 1982, he formed the predecessor company to what is now Investigative Consultants International, a highly successful firm in fraud and loss prevention and in the legal investigations marketplace. Mr. Ward is an associate certified fraud examiner and has a degree in psychology from Sussex School of Technology. Link
Serving as advisers are a homeland security specialist and Bob Barr (yes, that Bob Barr). Anyway interesting background for a missing person/murder investigation.

Fair enough. I don't have a problem with anyone here. Just keep looking for news. I guess when the news slows down we post other things. Maybe I just want this to be "One Happy Island=============

I assume it wasn't with one of those calling cards purchased over the counter. She'd have to have had the dialing and card number with her. Don't think she did. Supposedly all she had with her was her driving ID and a small amount of money.

well, i think its hard for anyone who hasn't been there to picture what life in jail is like, or what kind of wild-eyed roomies one now has...anyway, to state this to a fellow inmate is standard jailhouse razzing, even to the point of initiating a fight--to say it to guards or prosecuters is squealing (just like a little piggy) and gets one lethally stuck with a shiv (just like a little piggy)...it ain't kosher...and no, i am not following this thread from jail on a laptop...any attorney can confirm what i am saying
