Nat not seen and the assumption was she was not in the car. I am not so sure about that. Also why was Joran in driver's seat.
I am withholding judgement as to the veracity of this witness. But it is intriguing.

Can I assume that they are talking about two separate witnesses?

That's my take on it, two different witnesses.

Thanks TexKat. That's a great timeline in post #1996 in Thread 8. I wish we knew why Beth thinks that when Natalee called their MB home and left a message she thinks Natalee was calling from the VDS's. I keep flashing back to the time Beth and Greta went to the VDS's and were invited in their house. Beth seemed to be holding back some important information.
Do you think there might be a chiming clock or a familiar sound (baarking dog) that could be heard in the background of Natalee's voicemail? And could Beth have heard the same thing when she went in their house?

Wonder how msnbc got a witness. My understanding was that Fox staffers were the only media left on the island.

2 possibilities, as I have understood the snippets
1. voices in backgroubd, one of which said "are you calling homs? Hang up now"
2. the VDS (vacationing) neighbors monkey might also be heard screeching in the background.
To: demkicker
I read on SM that next door to Joran was a monkey who had been left in his cage unattended while the owner was in HOlland. Greta did a special blurb on this monkey. He howled alot. Some say that the howling monkey was the sound Beth heard on Nat's phone and that is why she Knows Nat was there.

And could Beth have heard the same thing when she went in their house? Or the neighbors hungry monkey who had been left unattended that Greta's crew fed could have been irritant and noisy. At least that has been rumored.

I think Greta did a special piece on that Monkey because he was important.
I think Greta is the best.

A neighbor did see them washing car around that time.
Interesting on SM, Deepak said he would be cleared today, don't know where. And that poster anbennet said big stuff would happen today, arrests of the Kalpoes, etc.

Thanks. If true and there's a monkey screeching in the background on the voicemail, I can see why Beth thinks Natalee was there, especially if she heard it when she was there too.
