Canada: Imam warns Ottawa to back off Muslims

That's pretty accurate considering the Liberal Party of Canada uses tax money as their own personal slush fund and is not held accountable.

The biggest problem is smug apathy. The radical muslims are your standard bully and Canada (sadly too many of my compatriots) are your run of the mill bystander...."oops, if I say anything he might come after me..."

In short, we enable this nonsense. Bullies understand power and perceive civility as weakness. Nothing less than a show of force will get them to stand down.

It is the job of conservatives to save Western civilization; liberals just don't get it. They are smug, self-satisfied, and PC; they seriously believe that Jerry Falwell is a bigger threat to our society than Al Quaeda. Liberals are always denouncing Western civilization as the greatest evil in world history; they really do believe that, and for that reason they lack the will to defend it and will ALWAYS, repeat ALWAYS, "blame America first."

The reply from Public Safety Minister Anne McLellan should have been "We can guarantee what will happen if your uncontrollable young people cross the line. We will hand you their heads on the end of a spike!"

This is all rapidly coming to a boil. Something is going to happen in a lot of countries very soon. I think all the muslims know it and they are stalling as long as they can until a multi-country outbreak starts.

That word, describing liberals, also found its way into my post #24. It is really characteristic of the liberal worldview. Ironically, it is because they are the very thing that they claim to despise - bourgeois, in Berdyaev's (Russian religious/social philosopher) sense: comfortable and at home in the world, lacking a tragic sense of life, lacking a real sense of evil, self-centered, possessed of strong egos which give them a feeling of invulnerability.

You nailed it. There's a self loathing that permeates these individuals and their actions. The calm they breathe is the air of borrowed time. You can only live with a viscious animal so long before it turns on you.
