In many respects, the decision of "moderate" Muslims to acquiesce to these actions and even provide tacit justification for them is just as damaging to global safety and security as the attacks themselves.

The problem isn't just "moderate Muslims." Much of the problem is moderate Americans who think that Mr. Tancredo's statements justify the Muslims in killing Americans. As long as there are politically correct apologists who think that we are wrong for advocating hard responses to jihadist terrorism, the jihadists will be even bolder to attack the United States.

There was guy on Fox last night,a former Muslim who converted to Christianity and teaches at,I think it was,Bob Jones University,who said pretty much the same thing. He said that the Islamic terrorists take the West as weak,because they don't understand why else we wouldn't be willing to kill and be killed for our beliefs and our principles like they are. They can't wrap their minds around the concept of "political correctness",it doesn't make sense to them,they can't believe it. They simply think that we're weak and apologetic and will fold like a house of cards soon enough,because they BELIEVE in their cause(destroying us) and we don't really believe in ours,apparently.

While Americans are rightfully expected to support their nation over all other negative influences only Islam asks orders it's thralls to disregard the laws of whatever nation they live in for Islamic rule. Wife beatings, wife killings and daughter murders have already been let slide under the appeasement of "cultural bridging" in Canada - a country harboring multiple thousands of radicals with evil intentions for us. The Minutemen are right in showing that both of our borders are as weak as the political prostitutes we entrust them to.
