Not 9/11/2001, but 1993. At least one Iraqi Intel Agent from Hussein's government was caught and convicted in their 1993 bombing attack on the World Trade Centers in NYC.

At least one other 1993 WTC Iraqi Intel Agent made it back to Iraq and was captured there during our 2003 invasion.

I knew about the '93 connection. Wasn't their an Iraqi who committed suicide in Iraq just before the war by shooting himself in the head three times? Was he Iraqi?
