Oh, so you haven't seen those IBM commercials showing the advice of throwing money at consultants to try to fix a problem! Beckel is the personification of that, with the knowledge as well, that Dims won't revisit issues to assign responsibility of results, but only go through the fleeting motions of iconography.

As they told George Soros, "Send money! We'll hire the rabid, willing workers."

Bob's very presence anywhere other than a dusty warehouse holding the archive boxes intended for the future Daschle presidential library proves the points above.

Facts be damned, of course, among the Left. Speaking of the corruption of money, however, there is that continuum, where some say that everyone has his price (to turn), or hitmen are often cheaper, or on a grand scale, stoke the madrassas, prop up UBL and promise the Muslim underlings martyrdom and 72 virgins, and then give the Congressional demonrats and the US MSM a bent vision to restore hemselves their former power.

The disconnect of money to take down Rove is for the uninitiated to contemplate, and Beckel must be exasperated and on his last legs to share so openly his primal impulse.

Thank you very much---

I was on the thread yesterday with wagglebee about the Justice Dept. starting an investigation about Durbin, Levin, Wyden...and Rockefeller, for "outing" the CIA Spy satellites on the Senate floor. (complaing of cost, prolly)...

and I mentioned that I had heard that a Senator had "outed" CIA Planes landing in Afghanistan...is that what 60 Minutes was about???

Was it the PRESS that outed the CIA plane? I guess I just lumped that story in with the one with the dem Senators...

Dang....I wish they had another one to hang on Durbin and Rockefeller!!!!

BTW, I just saw a crawl on Fox News awhile ago that said that the Senate Reps. have nixed a liability cap or something on MTBE additives...I guess they went against the House Reps..according to the crawl...

That is one of those subjects, like farm subsidies, that go right over my head...but I thought I would tell you. I am sure YOU know what it is about...

It sure was. It went into great detail about the origins of the flight, and the destinations. It also had an arab guy from Germany that claimed he was spirited away from his wife and family to be returned months later, all at the hand of the CIA.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing, I still cant..

Did it say that it was just the PRESS involved in outing this...there wasn't any "confirmation", by dem congresscritters before they ran with the story?

Dang, I wish I'd seen it now.

Did you happen to see him interview Cornyn and Schumer this morning?

They were both out of the studio (different places), but he managed to make it seamless....and he also asked hard questions of BOTH sides...

Brit does his homework, and doesn't just through up an old quote by his guests...

MTBE was an additive the Gov't mandated be put into gasoline. I think it leached into water supplies and made the water really bad.

I think you may have it there with the Korb name. Kalb is so CBS-Liberal, I can only imagine him not-so-secretely despising Reagan.

Kind of reminds me of that liner on the Laura Ingraham show has about fat chris, "get a closeup of me right now"!!

With all due respect, I believe that soundclip was of Rose O'Donnell going apoplectic (the norm) when she was on "The View" a while ago with Sean Hannity...but I agree with you, Chris does like the image in the mirror a bit much.

Refreshing to hear Sen. Cornyn address Chuckie as "Senator Schumer" as opposed to "Charles," "Chuck," or "my friend from New York," or any of those other nauseating faux-camraderie expressions Senators use for each other.

It reminds me of the hillariously funny "Dennis Miller: The Raw Feed" from early 2003 (before the start of the Iraq war). Miller was talking about Big Byrd and some of the other bloviators in the Senate, and he said (paraphrasing), "the Senate is a place where we send mediocre people to do extraordinary things, and where "my esteemed colleague" means "this pr**k here".
