"Durbin says the the consultation done by the Prez did not reach the level of that engaged in by Clinton."
Oh yes, of course, Bubba always did everything better - Clinton consulted w Hatch and a couple other members of the Judiciary Committee. Pres Bush and/or his staff met/spoke w about 70 members of the Senate. I guess it depends upon how one defines 'consultation' - - - or how the Dims try to lie (oops I mean spin) this.
Liberal analyst Chuck Todd said this on one of those shows, which interested me. GE chairman & CEO Immelt was invited to WH dinner with Indian PrimeMinister. Immelt came early, sought & meet Rove(who was not in the dinner) before the dinner. Immelt btw, happens to be Russert's boss.
As the saying goes he would wouldn't he.
I'm waiting for FNC to float Juan into the East River.
Mathews has his own set of facts, ignoring those that don't fit his lofty perspective. Typical lib.
That is quite interesting.
Yes, he certainly likes being the ideological kamikaze flying around for the Conservative folks on the panel to shoot down (easily).
I wonder what Juan educational background is
Gonzales says he had no information on Plame and first learned about it when all the rest of us did. He did testify before the GJ. Brit is such a great questioner.
I was reading about that... I'm no Sinophobe, but it's hard to not sit up and take notice. As many as 15 years ago I was introduced to the concept of the size of China's population, and how the majority of them lived without modern amenities.
It was explained to me that power plants and lines were being sent out to these populations and that; -as the power came, the first thing the Chinese wanted was Light, and radios then they wanted a TV. The next thing they want is an fridge, the next thing they want is air-conditioning. Then they want cars.
When you consider the population, and the speed at which they are coming into the age of technology, it really should make one think. It was a profound thing to even fully ponder 15 years ago. Now look today, we're living it. Of course the most alarming aspect of this Chinese growth is -oil-.
Of course, this ability to manipulate the juan is interesting as well.
I'm not sure that crash vehicle he is driving will float or not!
Juan was given an honorary doctorate from some university recently. So... It's DOCTOR Williams to the uninformed masses. Juan was grinning ear to ear over it when Brit announced it on air.
From the NPR website:
A graduate of Haverford College, Williams received a B.A. in philosophy in 1976.
A graduate of Haverford College, Williams received a B.A. in philosophy in 1976.
Needless to say, I nearly fell out of my chair because I can not imagine the two being personal friends. Stranger still....Juan said yes, at which point Hume and the rest of the panel laughed.
Weird.
Good Morning I am glad Brit is in to handle Cornyn and Schumer. This should be interesting!
