Hillary Clinton Schedule To Be In Ohio Monday
POSTED: 4:13 p.m. EDT July 23, 2005
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman will get a boost for his campaign for governor when he shares the spotlight with Senator Hillary Clinton and other Democrat heavyweights Monday.
Coleman is playing host to a meeting of the Democratic Leadership Council in Columbus.
The mayor's only Democratic opponent so far in the 2006 governor's race is staying away from the meeting. U.S.
Representative Ted Strickland disagrees with the Democrat centrists on trade policies.
Many influential party leaders have been invited to the conference, including Senator Evan Bayh of Indiana and Governor Tom Vilsak of Iowa.
The council says it chose Ohio's capital for its annual meeting because of the state's importance in the 2004 presidential election.
Perks - or - perps. You decide...
No one can "share the spotlight" with this creature. She sucks up all the light, or air for that matter wherever goes. I really loathe her!!
Thought that you should know.
Maybe...while she's in Ohio...she'll give a speech
...outside,,and while sceeeching with her arm
pointing up in the air..her head slightly tipped
back...a serendipitous buckeye wil fall in her mouth,
lodge in her throat..and she'll suffocate before
they can dislodge it....>B-}
Sounds like the "kiss of death" to me.
My sympathies to the good people of Ohio.
Do I even need to say it?
Buckeyes are poisonous to humans.
I pity the people of Columbus, OH, Tampa, FL, and Milwaukee, WI, as they are going to be hearing her shrill voice very frequently over the next 3 years.
Our favorite double-wide ON the double-wide...
May I please coin the phrase - 'an ass a mile wide'?
"My sympathies to the good people of Ohio."
Hey, word has it Coleman and his like had the lawyer for the NRA in Columbus with inking the deal on the plate for the next big convention when the ban comment/law bruhaha took place. The attorney flew out that night, pen in hand.
Besides, the Dispatch today came out saying that Columbus Public Schools met 1 of 22 state standards, or 5%, if projections hold true. See http:www.dispatch.com for the story. Don't feel too sorry for a populous that is so ill-informed and undereducated that it doesn't see the enemy at the gates, let alone in its midst.
No doubt it'll be the clodhoppers and country folk who'll have to teach the city slickers how to boil water one of these days.
Columbus used to be an okay place, sad to say.
/rant off.
Imagine the "boost" Coleman could get if Kim Jung Il or Fidel Castro would show up for this Lefty shindig.
Here is an ad I just read in the "Chicago Reader" newspaper, dated July 22, 2005, Section Four, Page 8, in the section titled "Help Wanted, General", middle column, 8th ad down:
tar and feather the witch and run her out of town.
I wonder if Mayor Manhood has invited Glen Beck to come to the big event.
The Ohio governorship is in danger right now. Gov Taft, who promised no taxes immediately after the election pushed for and signed into law a 1% tax increase. (We're the 3rd highest taxed state in the nation.) He promised the tax was only temporary. It was to expire this year, and he pushed to have it remain a permanent 1/2% tax.
Then there was a retirement fund scandal in which a Taft crony lost 300 million dollars, 20 million of which was in collectors "coins." (Can you imagine authorizing that as an investment for a pension fund??)
The coins have "disappeared" and Taft is has hired a criminal lawyer and is demanding immunity from any questioning.
Absolutely amazingly stupid Taft-dynasty attitude is hurting us badly.
Well, I still believe in miracles. :)
