I live in Goose Creek (Berkeley County). This story was on Jive 5 News and Fox 24 serveral times.
For what it is worth, high school students in South Carolina drove the school buses until 1987 (when, if memory serves, the state was forced by the federal government to use adults with the then-usual threat to withhold transportation funds.)
And they had a pretty good safety record.
The driver should have a bullet put between the eyes.
Seriously; I would volunteer to do it.
"I think real sex crimes like rape, an adult molesting a child or any serious sexual assault should be bumped up a few notches and become death offenses the first time. We should start removing the sickos."
They have the death penalty in California, but can you remember the last time they used it? I can't.
These days I wouldn't trust a jury of my "peers", either.
This was changed because the death penatly is an incentive for the rapist to kill his victim, too.
All she had to do was press a button, and all it took was $10 for her not to do it.
How heartbreakingly sad for the victim.
It is a sad consequence that the people responsible for our childrens lives ie School bus drivers, are low income degenerates. Who ever hired this woman and put her in a place of authority over , maybe thirty or so kids, should be punished as well.
