LONDON, July 22 (IranMania) - Iran accused the United States of extensive violation of human rights both inside and outside the US soil, IRNA reported.

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi reacting to interfering statement of US President George W. Bush, said, "The United States is talking about violation of human rights in Iran, while the whole world is disgusted of extensive violation of human rights in USA and by US government around the world".

Issuing a statement on Tuesday, President Bush expressed regret over continuation of Iranian journalist Akbar Ganji's imprisonment, asking for his "Immediate release" and proper medical treatment.

According to a news report issued by foreign ministry's media department, Asefi called the statement a reaction to Iranians negative response to President Bush's earnest request from them not to go to the IRI's 9th Presidential Election polls.

Referring to contradictory and deluding behavior of the US government concerning human rights, Asefi said, the White House, while commenting Iran for violation of human rights, ignored the fact that whole world is fed up with clear violations of such rights by US soldiers in detention center at Guantanamo US Naval Base, Iraq's Abu Ghraib Prison and wide ethnic discriminations and spoiling minorities rights inside the US.

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman pointed out that the current US administration has brought shame to American nation throughout the world.

He added that the American officials have experienced bitterly many times that their interferences in Iran's domestic affairs ave resulted in Iranian nation's negative and decisive response.

Asefi concluded, "They better learn from those experiences and not disgrace themselves furthermore".

The U.S media from Newsweek to the NYT to Dick Durbin have a pronounced effect upon Iran.
What better witnesses of torture, transgressions, and human rights violations than the NYT, Newsweek, Dick Durbin.
Al Jazeera spreads this "credible and horrible" news and Iran fuels flames in the Islamic world towards the great Satan.

God bless Ganji. That poor man. Do you think he'll be released? Will the new president release him as his first duty in office? Can Ganji live until August 4th?
