Albany-- On July 6th at 9:15AM, the 911 center in Albany got a shocking call. Wendal Nason, Jr. needed an ambulance because he had just severed his right foot with a circular saw - intentionally. His conversation with the 911 dispatcher reveals why he did it.
911: Which foot did you cut?
Nason: The right foot. Cut it clean off.
911: Oh, Jesus. How did you do it?
Nason: With a Skil saw.

I'd say this guy has a few unresolved issues. The full article includes a recording of the 911 call. Bizarre!

That isn't an easy thing to do. Cutting his foot is one thing, cutting it off is something else.

To put the foot back on? To close everything up? Or to make the leap to finally becoming "Sandra"

The neighbors and subsequently police refer to Nason as "she." That's because Wendal Nason is a transvestite who prefers to be called Sandra.
Typical liberal.

I'd just tape the guard back, get it up to speed and zip! Doesn't sound all that difficult, definitely insane, but not difficult.

Personally, I believe he (she? it?) should be forever barred from suing anyone under The Americans With Disabilities Act. :p

Nason: I'm sane. I'm not nuts or nothin' like that I just ain't wanted my legs since I was 14 years old and nobody couldn't tell me why. You are very, very nuts buddy.

So what kind of blade would you use? Would a ripping blade work, or should you go with an all purpose?
Actually it reminds me off a friend who saw me holding the guard back to make a cut once. He said "You shouldn't do that" And I commented something like, "It's not like I'm going to cut my arm off"

I hope Skil is prepared for a lawsuit. Did they have a warning label about not cutting off your own body parts intentionally?
