Fine. Then the cops do not consent to let them on the subway.
Moonbats.

I agree. Such lunacy! I would think this would draw more attention to yourself? Why not just instruct everyone to wear a big backpack filled up with wadded-up newspapers and with wires hanging out, with the pack dripping coke on the floor, and with melted Limburger cheese smeared on the outside?

Random searches are, without doubt, unreasonable, meaning it cannot be reasoned that they will detect bombers by random searches.
Therefore, they are a violation of the 5th Amendment.
If your respect for the Constitution is so low that you consider anyone who stands up for it a moonbat, then you're . . .

Also:
There are only two reasonable search criteria:
1) Search EVERYONE
2) Search all those who fit the profile or the description (depending on whether LE is trying to catch all the bombers they can find or just a particular bomber.)

I had to ride the NYC subway today, and I vowed that I would
not consent to be searched under any circumstances. In fact, if I were turned away and wasn't permitted to get on the train, then it was my intent to come back to my office, submit my resignation, and go work somewhere else.
It's one thing to search people at random in the name of public safety, but it is grossly unacceptable in a place where law-abiding citizens aren't even allowed to carry firearms for their own protection.
"Public safety," my @ss.

Yep. I am a season ticket holder for the Rome Braves. They are the low class A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves in Rome, Georgia. If you are carrying a bag into State Mutual Stadium, you must go through the main gate and have your bag searched. Otherwise, you cannot enter the ballpark. This is common sense for subway riders, given the recent events in London.

When there is a suicide/homicide bombing (either packpack or vehicle) at a school/hospital/shopping mall/supermarket (ie. Lodi sleeper cell)...will you consent to mandatory searches/1 mile vehicle exclusion zones(you walk in)around all these places also?
