Im simply was relying on your own words and context:

Allegra:"I have "mass everyday interaction with Muslims" - both Shiite and Sunni. I've worked and socialized with them on their own turf for a year and a half now"

....Worked and socialized. And that's what I commented on.

Have a nice weekend over there.

Attack in London : the "war" excuse

Attack in London: The 'war' excuse

Saturday, July 23, 2005

London's worst bombing since World War II, followed Thursday by four small explosions that struck underground train stations and a bus, have prompted dire warnings to Great Britain about the war in Iraq.

By taking up arms with the United States, the logic goes, Britain has brought the bombings on itself.

But those who strap on bombs to blow up civilians don't need a war to justify their agenda. Their jihad was ingrained long before Americans or British troops ever stepped foot in Iraq.

Consider just a partial resume of modern-day terrorists' acts:

-the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland
-the Israeli embassy bombing in Argentina in 1992
-the World Trade Center bombing in 1993
-the Riyadh military compound bombing in Saudi Arabia in 1995
-the bombing of American embassies in Tanzania and Kenya in 1998
-and the bombing of the USS Cole in 2000.

At the time of each attack there was no war -- except for the one that burned in demented minds.

And on 9/11, what "war" sent suicidal terrorists into the sky.....SNIP

What nation did the U.S. occupy then?

Today, two years after the invasion, Iraq has become a hotbed for imported insurgency and terrorism, a veritable mecca for those who seethe with hatred against America and all it represents.

And if there was no war? Those who despise the United States, its allies and all it represents have never needed a war to act upon their hatred with cold-blooded determination.

"London: Behind Infidel Lines"
By Walid Phares
FrontPageMagazine.com | July 22, 2005

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "“We have to wait and see if these incidents are terrorism related.” When I heard this sentence uttered by anchors quoting officials in Great Britain after Thursday’s explosions in London’s subways, I told myself: Western instincts are still numbed, even though progress in popular mobilization is clear.

On several radio shows during yesterday morning, I compared the current legalistic logic in the terror war with odd statements the British would have never made back during the Blitz of 1940. Let’s just imagine after each wave of Nazis bombers, city officials would caution the media from rushing to quick conclusions, saying: We don’t know if these were bombs or gas explosions! Or: Let’s call them bombers but not Nazis, before we actually show the Swastikas in a courtroom!

In short, even if we see a rising awareness about the nature of terrorism among ordinary people, the elite still trails behind in the conflict with Jihadism. In fact, either we are at war or we aren’t. One doesn’t need seven hours after the second wave of Jihadi attacks in London to “dare” describe it as being of a “terrorist nature.” What else could it be?

While the West wrestled with this definition “crisis”, the leading commentators in the Arab world were already exploring which Jihadist group was responsible, while, of course, blaming Britain and the US for the attacks. Ironically, there is a mental time zone between London and the Eastern Mediterranean. By the morning, Salafi chat rooms and cyber salons were already celebrating the second “Ghazwa” (raid) of London. Regardless of casualties, the Jihadis were celebrating the “penetration” of the British system: “Lan yanjahu fi darb el mujahideen” (they won’t be successful in hitting the Mujahidin, sic) a chatting person lashed out. This was very indicative of the equation: The so-called bombers, failing to achieve mass death, wanted to score a point; that is that they are on the offensive. Meanwhile their infidel enemies were busy reconstructing the evidence."

I'm sorry, I was mistaken. It isn't heparin they are lacing the bombs with, it's rat poison (warfarin-a different kind of blood thinner).
I think you're mistaken about the hepatitis. As with heparain, they would need access to medical facilities, and hepatitis would be even harder to get than the heparin. I just don't see it. After searching, I also didn't find any basis for your assertion.
There are however, many, many articles about the use of the blood thinner in them.
Here are just two I found:

"More marksmen to hunt five bombers on the loose"
By Daniel McGrory, Dominic Kennedy and Stewart Tendler

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "MORE undercover marksmen will be deployed on the streets of London today after it emerged that a fifth bomber may be on the loose after Thursday’s failed bomb attacks.
Despite calls for an inquiry into Scotland Yard’s tactics after the killing of an innocent Brazilian, the Metropolitan Police Commissioner, Sir Ian Blair, insisted that shoot-to-kill orders will stay in force."

ARTICLE SNIPPET #2: "Police sources also disclosed that a bag found at the weekend in a park in Wormwood Scrubs, West London, contained the same type of explosives that were used in Thursday’s attacks. They believe that a fifth bomber may have abandoned his mission for unknown reasons. Detectives do not know how much explosive material the cell still has.

Security forces fear that the four gang members — all believed to be London-based and of East African origin — will strike again before they are found or the explosives degrade."

LONDON (AFP) - An apparently discarded bomb similar to the four used in failed attacks on London's transport system on July 21 was found in a park, British police confirmed, appealing for information about a type of food container used in all of them.

"Initial forensic examination of the four partially detonated bombs has revealed clear similarities with yet another bomb which was found by a member of the public last Saturday, July 23," said Peter Clarke, head of London police's anti-terrorist branch.

The bomb appeared to have been abandoned in a park at Little Wormwood Scrubs, west London, he said in a news conference.

All five devices used the same type of plastic food storage container, which was placed inside dark coloured rucksacks or sportsbags, he added.

The police appealed to shopkeepers to come forward with details about customers and if they recognised some of the suspects in the botched attacks, whose pictures have been widely published.

The containers were manufactured in India and imported through one company to Britain, where they were sold in about 100 shops across the country.

"The type we are interested in is this six and a quarter litre size container with a white plastic lid," Clarke said.

"My appeal is to any shopkeepers or workers who may have sold five or more of these identical food containers in recent months perhaps to the same customer," the Metropolitan Police officer said.

"Do you remember selling any of these items at the same time, do you remember selling them to men you perhaps recognise from the pictures we put out today?"

The police released new pictures of two of the suspected attackers Thursday, one of them who fled from Oval Station in south London and the other who left the bus in Hackney, northeast London. The police had until now not confirmed if a suspicious package found by a member of the public at Little Wormwood Scrubs on Friday was a bomb ready to detonate, although they had said it appeared to be linked to the four bombs which failed to go off fully on July 21.

The immediate area in west London was cordoned off and police carried out controlled explosions on Saturday before they took forensic evidence away.

The BBC had quoted a local park worker as saying he had found a transparent package containing a beige substance with nails and bolts packed around it and wires protruding.

Four explosions went off on Thursday, three on subway trains and one on a bus. They caused no injuries after the bombs appeared not to detonate properly, prompting the bombers to abandon the devices and flee.

London's police could not confirm a forensic link between the July 21 devices, and those used earlier to deadly effect by the four suicide bombers on Underground trains and a bus on July 7, killing 52 other people.

"We are pursuing various lines of inquiry and keeping an open mind in terms of the devices being related to each other," a Metropolitan Police spokeswoman told AFP.

Police had said the package found on Saturday appeared to have been left in the bushes, rather than hidden.

DOES FAILED LONDON SUICIDE BOMBER HAVE CONNECTION
TO JAILED ISLAMIC RADICAL CLERIC ABU HAMZA?

Is this one of the four failed suicide bombers who tried to wreak more death and destruction on London last week?

While combing through possible leads to the London bombers, British freelance spy Glen Jenvey,40, found a picture bearing what he thought was a remarkable similarity to one of the wanted men.

Picture Found by Jenvey

The picture came from a series of video tapes Jenvey obtained following an Internet sting operation on the radical London-based cleric Abu Hamza.

London Bombing Suspect

In an e-mail interview, Jenvey said the individual in the picture pulled from the Hamza tapes was photographed some time after 1998 but before Sept. 11. 2001.

"The tape is of several meetings held by jihadis in London," Jenvey said, "and also shows clips of fighting in Bosnia and Kashmir. Abu Hamza (is also seen in the tape) holding meetings inside Finsbury Park Mosque, and other halls and meeting places."

Jenvey said there was a reason he was focusing on these now old tapes while investigating a new crime.

"Wherever Abu Hamza is, there seems to be links to terror. I have learned this after looking into the preacher over several years that he is one of bin Laden's main men in the UK."

Jenvey said he hopes that even a small possible lead such as this "will help people in the manhunt to stop more attacks."

He added that whether or not the individual in the Hamza movie is indeed the same one being sought by authorities, "What it does show is for many years groups of terrorist have been very open on the London streets and have now turned on the British people, as well as exporting the terror abroad."

Britons are still jittery after the terror attacks. According to media reports (http://channels.aolsvc.co.uk/news/article.adp?id=20050725021409990002 ), authorities believe the bombers may be preparing to strike again while being sheltered at safe houses in the capital. Law enforcement officials told media there was no indication the bombers had fled Britain after their failed mission.

According to British media (www.lse.co.uk/ShowStory.asp?story=DB1415305W&news_headline=abu_hamza_to_stand_trial_next_year_for_soliciting_to_murder and http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4652693.stm ), Hamza, 46, will stand trial next year for soliciting to murder and stirring up racial hatred.

JENVEY

Jenvey's work was profiled in mid-2003 in England's "Sunday Times" (www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2087-750685,00.html ).

According to the "Sunday Times," Jenvey was so convincing in his role as a radical website operator that Hamza allegedly sent him a number of propagandist al Qa'ida recruitment videos. Jenvey forwarded the videos to a number of law enforcement agencies that included the FBI.

The "Sunday Times" wrote that according to statements given to the anti-terrorist branch in March 2003, Jenvey set up an internet site in 2002 called islamic-news.co.uk. Using the (fictitious) name Pervez Khan he published radical Islamic propaganda and news articles on the site from Kashmiri extremist groups.

Once the site was established, Jenvey told the "Sunday Times" he sent the material to Hamza's now defunct website — supportersofshariah.org. "He (Hamza) was so pleased with this he decided to put a link to my site from his site. That was his first big mistake," Jenvey told the "Sunday Times."

As a result, Jenvey ended up monitoring everyone who logged on to Hamza's website and passing the information he gathered onto the FBI.

However, Jenvey felt he could do even more. He told the "Sunday Times," "By now I was getting close to Hamza. He trusted me ... We had been e-mailing each other a lot and I had been passing the e-mails to the FBI. We also started to speak on the phone. I started to suggest I could help him recruit people for his jihad. He became very excited by this. He would burble prayers down the phone in an almost demented fashion. I thought he must be a bit mad. He said he would send me some material to help me win supporters and prepare them for jihad. He said he had some special tapes, but that they were somewhere secret and he did not keep them in the mosque. He said they would be sent to me."

Less than a month later a package arrived at Jenvey's home containing 20 audio tapes. A second package arrived a week later with six two-hour video tapes. Jenvey told the "Sunday Times" he was shocked by what he saw. One tape began by showing a training camp in Bosnia and scenes of urban combat training. Jihad anthems played in the background and a voice in English commanded, "Make ready to continue to terrorize the enemy of Allah."

The tape then later cut to Hamza speaking to a private audience in London about "so-called" suicide bombers. "It is to inflict suffering, it is in the time, in the methodology of suicide, it is there and at its peak," says Hamza.

In another tape, the "Sunday Times" wrote, three British volunteers were interviewed in Bosnia about their experiences. All three urged Muslims at home to undergo jihad training and criticized those individuals who just sent money or gave moral support.

Another tape, also allegedly provided by Hamza, was an Arabic documentary, made before 9/11, about the building of the World Trade Center in New York and the Petronas Towers in Malaysia.

Jenvey told the "Sunday Times" that after receiving the tapes he continued to monitor Hamza's website. In April 2003 he saw a film showing Russian soldiers being blown up by Chechnyan terrorists. The film was available through a link from Hamza's website. It showed training with live ammunition at a camp in Afghanistan and appeared to be a training exercise for potential assassins. Many of the target images were obscured, but former President Bill Clinton, was clearly visible.

Hamza's website was shut down by its internet service provider soon after Jenvey reported his observations to the appropriate authorities.
