Just days after his release from a state prison, Jeremy Quinn, Jr., was charged with kidnapping a 16-year-old Sylvania Township girl at knifepoint Monday from the driveway of her home and raping her.
Quinn, 22, of 8052 Dorr St., Springfield Township, was arraigned yesterday in Sylvania Municipal Court on one count of kidnapping and six counts of rape.
The defendant, who was ordered held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $700,000 bond, will return to court today for the appointment of a public defender to represent him.
The teenage girl had just gotten into her car outside her home near Bancroft Street and Centennial Road about 4:15 p.m. Monday to go to work when she was confronted by a man with a knife.
Sylvania Township police said the attacker forced the girl onto the floor of the passenger seat of the car, drove to an undisclosed, secluded area nearby, and sexually assaulted the teenager.

I just want to ask all the fools who believe that these guys can be rehabilitated..."would you let him baby sit your kids, permit him familiarity with your daughter, or would you even have him in your neighborhood?"

IMHO, rape is a capital offense and should be treated as such. If found guilty in this case, this guy should receive the death penalty which should be carried out expeditiously, none of this appealing for 15 years rubbish.

Only when the monsters go into the judge's own neighborhoods and harm the judge's families. If the monsters harm average joe's family, well, that's no concern of most of these judges.

As authorities left the home with Quinn, the defendant's mother confronted officers and assaulted a sheriff's deputy, according to Sergeant Colwell.
I think I see the #1 problem. No matter what this reprobate has done in his life his mom thinks it is the Sheriff's fault for catching him.

Yikes:
"Quinn was released by the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction after serving a 13-month sentence at the North Central Correctional Institution in Marion, Ohio.
He had been convicted in Lucas County Common Pleas Court on charges of burglary and menacing by stalking.
A spokesman for the state prison system said Quinn was released after completing his sentence and was not on parole.
When he was 14, Quinn was convicted of one count of delinquency in connection with rape and two counts of delinquency in connection with kidnapping. He was found delinquent for attacks on two South Toledo women Oct. 15 and Oct 16, 1996. Both were raped in their apartments.
He was 13 at the time of the assaults and could not be tried as an adult. He served his sentence in a youth detention facility until he was 21."
So he went to jail for multiple kidnappings and rapes committed at age 13. he spent most of the next nine years in prison, coming out briefly only to commit more violent crimes and go back in. When the victim described him, the cops knew exactly who she was talking about -- he's got a frequent-flier card with the criminal courts.
The story also notes he tried to rob his latest victim, but he won't be charged with robbery because she didn't have any money for him to steal. WTF?? Must be some strange aberration in Ohio criminal law.

I wish that were true; however all the charges from when he was a minor will not be argued in Cort, this will be a first offense as an adult. Some liberal pinhead judge will give him a light first offense sentence and he will be returned to the streets to rape and murder at will. You will never rehabilitate this guy he is too far gone thanks to our judicial system. There will be other victims.

But it's more important to keep druggies in prison, let's keep our priorities straight. If we hang the druggies, that would make room for Quinn. Everybody wins!
