The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) said today that it is working with leaders of the Colorado Muslim community to set up a meeting with Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO) over his recent remarks....
'snip'
CAIR said local and national Republican leaders should repudiate the congressman's remarks and Tancredo himself should apologize immediately to the people of Colorado and the American Muslim community. The Washington-based council asked Muslims and other people of conscience to contact the Republican Party to ask for an apology and repudiation of the offensive statements.

I hope he doesn't apologize. I hope he tells the likes of that loudmouth Ibrahim Hooper to take a hike. I hope he snatches that little white doily off of Hooper's head and stomps on it.

Death to Islamofascists, the followers of the pedophile Mohammed -- and that means you CAIR PIGS!

Well now...
now they want to negotiate. Guess Tancredo found something our enemies do care about.
If you do decide to talk to them, Tom, remember to keep your head about you!

CAIR might be better served to meet with the terrorists (officially) and let them know what Tancredo said.

Thank God for someone in the congress that has the ability to think. I like the idea and actually we should do it as a preemptive strike.

What do they think? He didn't realize his remarks would get them excited? Their crocodile tears will impress him? He'll think twice once he realizes how huge the Muslim voting bloc is in his district? Doesn't seem too likely.

I see nothing wrong with terrorizing terrorists. They are mentally weak given their propensity to be brainwashed. Why not pray on their weaknesses. We should interject doubt into our willingness to wipe them off the face of the planet by making these very uncharacteristic statements.
Terrorism is about mind games, not killing people, the sooner people figure this out the better we will all be.

CAIR said local and national Republican leaders should repudiate the congressman's remarks . . ..
They have.
. . . and Tancredo himself should apologize immediately to the people of Colorado and the American Muslim community.
That would require character, which Mullah Tancredo lacks.

That would be beautiful.
I really hope that Tancredo has the courage to do that.

Err... what exactly is the problem here CAIR? How about a deal. You guys stop bombing buses in Jerusalem and we won't bomb Mecca. What, you don't like that deal?

It made me sick to read Hugh Hewitt's pathetic screed against Tancredo yesterday. He is hardly the first to ever mention nuking Mecca as a logical and legitimate target for deterrence or retaliation. This is not war by strategic means, it is a religious war, and thus one must consider actions such as Tancredo suggests, as well as burying the remains of Muslim gunmen/bombers with pig entrails. It is well past time for the latter to be official policy, and discussing the former is well within bounds. If it were more widely discussed and threatened it would be a strong counter-tactic to Al Queda threats.

This long-time Coloradoan is NOT looking for an apology from Tancredo nor do I feel that one is owed. What I am looking for from him is a calm defense of his "what if..." comments. That is what rational people do when they disagree. This is what civilize humans do when they are frustrated and angry about the murder of innocents. This is what people do, as opposed to say, walking into a London subway with a bomb.
"Mullah Tancredo"? You embarrass your self.
