This year, according to Clinton, four particular topics will be discussed at the New York convention: "the best methods to reduce poverty; use religion as a force for reconciliation and conflict resolution; implement new business strategies and technologies to combat climate change; and strengthen governance." That was gross.
It's like a campaign commercial, "Hi, my name is William Jefferson Clinton and I'm running for antichrist."

Well, at least it only a "global initiative" not "intergalactic"!

I keep hearing this UN SG nonsense, and that's all it is.
I am always confronted with people who don't know the UN.
The SG is not selected in the SC, it is voted on by the member nations of the GC, and there is an unwritten understanding by the self serving SC that they (who put forth the nominee to the GC) will never put forth someone who is a citizen of a member state of the SC.
That is simple self interest, since they know that no one from those countries has a snowballs chance of getting passed.
All that being said, Bill would get the Secretary of State under the Beast. - shudder

This is just another excuse for the elites to take an all expense (by the taxpayer?) paid week of wining and dining (and, at least in Clinton's case, groping) in some ritzy local where they shoot the you-know-what about some "big global problem" and then go home having accomplished nothing.

The logo does resemble a hammer and cycle, doesn't it? Just needs stars and a red background to complete the image.

Why isn't this man in jail? Also, did the Clintons and their backers have anything to do with Annan's woes being brought to world attention.
I wonder. After reading the latest book about Hitlery; I wouldn't be surprised.
Why is it we are always having to suffer the consequences of these two? I am really, really sick of them and the sick and perverted way they look at the world.

Every good narcisstic sociopath has a Messianic complex. Slick Willy's photo should be in the encyclopedia next to the definitions of narcissist and sociopath and Messianic complex, complete with cross referencing. I think he'd approve. ;-)

"the best methods to reduce poverty; use religion as a force for reconciliation and conflict resolution; implement new business strategies and technologies to combat climate change; and strengthen governance."I think I heard this string of platitudes before ... I think it was in the 1998 Miss America competition.

After all Clinton has lusted after Kofi Annan's position as secretary-general of the UN, the only political position arguably more powerful than the one he held for eight years... This is absolutely not true. Under no circumstances does the Secretary of the UN hold as much power as the President. He is important only because the left deems it as the best hope for mankind in their utopian dreamworld.
You can bet, however, thatBill Clinton will move quickly and decisively to make it a powerful position. And that would be an absolute disaster.

Which will it be.........
William J. Clinton UN Secretary-General
or
Hillary R. Clinton President of the United States
......can't have both........

For those who read the Left Behind series, Bill Clinton's "Global Initiative" sounds eerily similar to the Global Community force (the GC) in the novel.

Of course he thinks he's the "Messiah".
He wants to come again.

I'm glad to see that, for once, nobody has yet posted that myth that the Secretary-General can't be from one of the permanent Security Council members.

Is there a rule? Can a US President be a immediate relative of the head of the UN? Will his being in the UN preclude Evita being in the WH? I hope we are never forced to THAT choice, but if it isn't prohibited it ought to be. My stomach hurts just thinking about it.

But one thing it's not at all difficult to remember is that Bill, now William J., desperately wants UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan's job. It's practically scrawled across his forehead. Headline I'd love to see:
DateLine: June 2006
"William J. Clinton now Secretary-General, US kicks UN out of Country."

"I am obsessed with only two things: I don't want anyone to die before their time.
This is one of the most idiotic things I've ever read. Does he claim to know when a person was "intended" to die? Is he going to thwart God's plans?
When you die, whenever it happens is "your time". It might have been a terrible circumstance, but God still allowed it.
