PHILADELPHIA - John Ryan stood in the middle of a Center City sidewalk, making the best of Saturday's oppressive humidity.
A green cap decorated with the words "U.S. Border Patrol," shaded his brow as he and members of Pennsylvanians Against Illegal Immigration and the local chapter of the Minutemen prepared for a peaceful protest.
The two separate groups believe that the U.S. government is not doing enough to prevent illegal immigration. The groups say illegal immigration costs Americans money and jobs.
Armed with American flags and homemade signs, about a dozen protesters stood in front of a hip-hop clothing store on Market Street to draw attention to their cause.
Some passers-by stopped to offer support for ending illegal immigration while others turned their heads in disgust.

I'm going to start refering to these people in association with their current electroencephalogram (EEG).
They're FLATLINERS.
Question to pro immigration groups, why can't they come to the US thru legal channels? The US does not have pro European and anti color people policies of the past. It is not like the US limits Latinos, Asians, Africans to 2000 entrants a year. Our policies are generous and the pro immigration groups do not understand that if they insist on supporting illegal means, they will one day jeopardize the generous US immigration quotas for legal immigrants from non white nations.
Reagans statement of "tear down this wall" should have been MOVE THIS WALL TO OUR SOUTHERN BORDER!
I'm gonna suggest that we all contact our Senators and Congressmen (aka Congresspersons for the PC) and voice our opinions on this issue. Not just once, but monthly, give them "PMS" -- Positve Morality Stimulation -- until something gets done.
What thugs?
Isn't a bag of quarters the only known defense against the dreaded Meter Maid? ;-)
Dale, I think you've got a great point there. I'd like to think he'd see it that way today, if he were still with us.

Evidently this flatliner hasn't been out on the streets watching those who share his views.
. . .
SUMMARY: As the State of Ohio continues to utilize migrant labor, there are factors that need to be considered. As previously stated, about 70% of the migrant workforce is undocumented and working in Ohio with fraudulent documents such as INS (Immigration and Naturalization Service) green cards and Social Security numbers. These are the basic essentials required to be able to apply for the INS I-9, the Employee Verification Form, which gives migrants permission to work legally in the U.S. With this predicament and with the recent verification of workers social security numbers, we face a difficult dilemma being able to secure this labor in the future as well as the INS possibily apprehending the workforce. Ohios agricultural economy will suffer dramatically if the migrant labor workforce is removed.
Nationwide, Congress has been talking about legislation to address this issue. The events of September 11th, 2001, however, have nearly halted all discussion on this matter. It is important to address this issue and to begin to establish a process to legalize this valuable workforce already in the U.S. While the H2-A program which imports foreign labor for seasonal agricultural employment is a good program for workers that live out of the country, special attention needs to payed to those migrant workers already in the U.S. working illegally. It is this workforce that suffers as a result of not having valid documents to work in the United States. The courts are overflowing with workers that are apprehended for driving without a license and/or insurance. Without valid proof of identification, it is difficult to obtain the necessary documents to be able to participate in the United States workforce. As stated, above this workforce is not robbing Americans of their jobs, but rather doing all the jobs that most Americans are not willing to do anymore. It is imperative to recognize this predicament of proper identification so that the federal government can establish a process to legalize this workforce for the good of our agricultural economy.

This person is essentially declaring a 'holy war on our culture', yet thinks they belong on this forum.
Then they seek to instill enlightenment in us.

I know exactly what you mean. I've tried to figure this one out before but to no avail. I have to agree with you. BRAINDEAD, and FLATLINERS are accurate descriptions! Another one I like is DELUSIONAL. :O)
Glad I'm in New Orleans and people there barely have any idea of what goes on south of the border.
Thanks. I'll see your dilusional and raise you a nutcase. LOL
Maybe if they didn't try to cross the desert to enter the country ILLEGALLY, then they wouldn't die now would they?
La Raza Unida is one of the major Mexican-American organizations. It and other organizations are titled in Spanish, and most of their publications are almost exclusively written in Spanish. Their publications often contain articles lamenting the Anglo-American theft of the Sout West and the coming political dominance of the Mestizo. Some advocate political reunification with Mexico, while others are working toward forming a new Mexican nation, to be called Aztlan in the American Southwest. No wonder Mexican-American groups refer to themselves as La Raza Unida. They don't translate the name to English, for the translation would reveal their true identity and reason for being, for La Raza Unida means The United Race.
"Every illegal alien living in the U.S. should voluntarily return to their home country or be deported."
And I agree wholeheartedly.
The American people as a collective could make it possible their wanting to pack their bags and leave gladly.
The massive immigration in America of the last decades of the 20th century and of the 21st century, combined with taxpayer-subsized minority birthrates, will lead to conflict challening the very foundations of America. If the American people are knowledgeable, dedicated and willful, we shall prevail. If we are weak, we and all our works of beauty, and all our material achievements and culture will be washed away in the remorseless tides of history.
Boycott illegal aliens businesses and do not hire illegal aliens! It's ok to discriminate as they're not citizens and therefore not entitled to the protection of our laws.
Hell will freeze over before I learn Spanish!
"Reagans statement of "tear down this wall" should have been MOVE THIS WALL TO OUR SOUTHERN BORDER!"
Excellent point well worth of an encore.
Watch out for the detractors as they will attack our beloved President Reagan, though.
