The only one under oath in the courtroom is the witness.

Having said this in the UK if you asked the average man in the street what the difference between a bomber and a terrorist they would say a bomber is a terrorist if mentioned in the connotation of Madrid, London and various other incidents worldwide.

I'm very afraid, based on the careful wording of the above sentance, that you are continuing the same PC drivel that makes this entire issue so offensive to all who have expressed concern about not calling the terrorists "terrorists."

By ommission, do you mean to imply that bombers are NOT terrorists in the connotation of, say, Jerusalem or Baghdad or when the victims are Jews or Americans? That's the clear implication of what the truly evil people at the BBC are doing. Are you toying with that same sort of foul implication?

Tell me that I have that wrong and am simply over sensitive on this issue. But please, make it very explicit that you specifically feel Hammas and Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad and the PLO and Zarqawi's minnions are terrorists and that Israelis and American's are not "legitimate targets."

If I'm mistaken and you don't feel that way, but merely think the "average man in the street" feels that way, then those people are evil and are part of the problem, not part of the solution. In fact, they are the primary reason these monsters can't be stopped. Those sheep are willing to tolerate terrorists so long as it's not their interests that are being attacked. Well, it's in all of our interests to defeat barbarians, and that's what these monsters are. You let them go (or worse, give them asylum) because they're attacking "those guys" then you give them the eternal right to do the same damn thing to you.

stepping off of my soap box.

Excellent job on 231.

It really does get to the heart and soul of the war strategy. Too bad the old media still is around spinning, lying about the true nature of the Iraq war strategy. But, it is failing fast, we get the word out more and more every day.

Actually Snugs, the thing about Grey Poupon is it's sort of a joke for us Yanks. You see the makers of GP had for years shown various television advertisements with snobbish upper-class people borrowing GP from one another. Like in one, a limousine pulls up along side a man in a pickup truck, the rear passenger window rolls down (electrically, of course, before most people had them) and the man, as he's holding a sandwich, asks the pickup driver, "Pardon me sir, but do you have any Grey Poupon?"

So when we Yanks bring it up we're playing on the joke; Grey Poupon shows we have "class", or pretentions to "class".

She was bought back after the "Russians" had her name way back in 1994 or thereabouts. She had been shacking up with Wilson while he was still married to his ex-wife,and they were cocktail party freaks. They are very braggadocios and want to be noticed in the worst way. I cannot understand anyone still working for the CIA that cannot seem to keep her mouth shut or her Husbands mouth shut on any number of Security questions. Good Lord that is why you sign a confidentiality agreement. This couple is probably still be tracked by Foreign agents of our enemies, they spill their guts and lie equally.

I hope you didn't think that I was critisizing the MI-5--

I have always felt that the CIA did it's job before the war in Iraq, and so did the other intelligence agencies...they told their countries that Saddam was in the terrorism game, big time, and that he had WMD somewhere...

I am STILL convinced that they were transferred somewhere, or hidden DEEP in sand, because the dems had Bush jumping through so many hoops before he could go in...

I don't fault your MI-5 so much---these terrorists are taught to LIE, LIE, AND LIE somemore...and after all, wasn't he the one that was the teacher?

True. However, others have sworn to uphold both their state and US Constitutions, and they are bound to some degree by state bar association membership.

LOL--your remark about the finger pointing and knocking someone out, brought up visions of the Three Stooges, doing their "poking each other in the eyes trick"....

Cooper could be Curly, Wilson could be Moe, and Schumer could be Larry!

BTW, does anyone here REALLY trust the Grand Jury to get this right? I don't!

The above post fits in perfectly with the Clintonista Mo. IF you are a Clintonista on a mission and you get caught, blame the one who caught you. In this case Rove. Could be a huge story here that will never be covered, interesting stuff.

"So when we Yanks bring it up we're playing on the joke; Grey Poupon shows we have "class", or pretentions to "class"."

Particularly when you find out that Grey Poupon was originally intended to be a cheaper alternative to mustard, using cheaper horseradish to cut the mustard content. It was only after they raised the price and started the "high class" adds that it really started to sell.

Well, in fairness to Lurch, it was Johnny Edwards who said with a Kerry Presidency, Superman would still be alive.

Yes, Miller is one of those "cocktail Party" dems that have these close relationships with people that are like minds that are seen to be influential inside "The Beltway"types. Really unseemly, but lefties like them never feel they are out of power because of the MSM/DNC incestuous coupling.

Great stuff Morgan that Nation article about the re-structuring,re-making of Hillary in Northern New York,I hope everyone reads this it is the campaign for 08 and it's happening now, did it for me.
Cooper and Grundwald, it's all a big spin by the Clinton istas with most of the MSM in on it just keeping quiet about what tyhey really know. It all fits.

The whole thing is just a "try and hit Rove and lead up to GW if possible" mission by Cooper/Grunwald probably inspired by Hillary et/all.
